A DARE TO YOU

CHAPTER 15

DREAM.

I am hiding behind the wall between us where I could hear everything they'd say. I said that I was going to a restroom but honestly, I excused myself to hear what they're gonna talk about.

not to be nosy with their businesses but what they're gonna talk include me. I heard my name saying the one of Nanon's friends and they said something about what was going on the dare.

and here I am right now, calming myself while hiding. malakas ang kabog ng dibdib ko and I am intrigued of what will they talk that they supposedly excuse themselves and Nanon just to talk kaya ako na nag adjust.

I look at them but can't see their faces other than Nanon. pinagsawalang bahala ko nalang ito at nag tagong mabuti.

"how it's going?"

"we're doing great" I heard Nanon respond.

"No. not that. does the dare still up?"

what dare? and why I am include though.

I couldn't hear what Nanon was saying so I look at them to see if they're still talking. nag uusap parin naman sila why I can't hear everything?

what's dare?  —

END OF DREAM.

"Chi!" rinig kong pag tawag ni Nanon. I look outside and see that we're already at the bar. then I look at Nanon who's getting ready to open his door.

hindi na ako nag tagal pa at lumabas na rin sa sasakyan. the place looks familiar, hindi ko alam saan ko ba 'to nakita.

nag lakad na kami ni Nanon papasok and we enter a VIP room. pag pasok naman sumalubong agad ang iba nitong mga kaibigan. Ohm is also here smiling at me then he look at Nanon and immediately spread his arms waiting for Nanon to wrap himself up.

I don't know if I am hallucinating or being blinded by the light when I saw how he looks at Nanon. I brush of my thoughts before I sat down besides Nanon.

dream.

oh yes! I had a dream earlier as I slept. that's why this is so familiar kasi gantong ganto rin. but I don't why I am having that dream in the bar at the first place, e kakapunta ko lang dito. and what's more confusing is who's the guy I followed there with his friends.

I shook my head and pay attention at Nanon who's greeting some of them.

pinasadahan ko sila ng tingin and I could say that these guys are taken by each other. nginitian ko nalang ang mga ito bago umiwas ng tingin at mag focus sa walang kwentang bagay.

"BTW guys, this is my acquaintance, Chimon."

I shook hands with them at pinakilala nila ang isa't-isa, ngiti nalang ang ibinigay ko at naupo na.

they're now talking with each other and it's all about business and their jobs. nakikinig nalang ako to understand how hard Kaownah's job are.

"yeah, it's really hard and exhausted too."  heard the guy complained about his job.

"what about Nanon? how's life?"

"still life, haha. it's ok P, it's doing great. the business I was running is doing well. and if academic, I'm doing fine too. same as Ohm."

I saw Ohm agreed and they're back again.

"what about the dare?"

dare?

it's on my dream. the guy also brought that up and now someone brought it up. inangat ko ang tingin ko and if I was not mistaken, it was P'Krist who asked.
