CHAPTER 3

waking up in the morning because of hunger really pissed me off. here I am frowning while walking at the kitchen trying to find something I can eat by this hour.

when I found the cereal and milk, I grab a bowl and pour some to it. hindi ko naman namalayan na may nakatingin na sa akin when he blow my hair making me flinch because of the sudden act.

I looked at him and saw P'Krist smiling at me. "Good morning P!" bati ko rito at itinabi ang mga kinuha ko sa table bago umupo.

he smiled at me before raffling my hair, "Good morning rin, Non" pabalik na bati nito bago ako iwan sa hapag-kainan for a peace of mind.

while I was eating, I was just staring at nothing's particular when my phone buzz.

I looked at the caller ID first assuming that it was my fam or Ohm but it was none of them. unknown number lamang ito that made me frown a bit.

'who would call me 5 in the morning?' I thought before answering it.

I heard that he moved, maybe to sat down? I don't know and just waited for him to talk.

"hello?" tanong nito sa kabilang linya, testing if I'd response or not so I did.

"yes?"

"I'm sorry to call you at this hour but I just wanted to know why are you calling me last night?" he asked shyly as he stutters.

I don't know what he's talking about since I was wasted yesterday night after we swim. nag kayayaan rin kasi mag inuman that's why I was wasted kasi nilasing ako ni Ohm. so I don't really know what he's trying to say or maybe—

napalaki ang mata ko when I panicked. don't tell me that I tried to drunk call someone? but who would that be though? I don't have any clue.

I got back to my senses when I heard this guy asked again, "who's this?" biglaang tanong ko bago sumubo ulit ng pagkain ko.

I waited for a seconds before he speaks, "I'm Chimon."

as he revealed his name, I quickly look at the caller's phone number before I placed it back to my ear and start opening my mouth but no words come out.

who the fuck again it is? Chimon? like, the guy I liked for a years that named Chimon? putangina.

I face palmed and absentmindedly end the call before I rushed out to the kitchen and make my way to our shared room.

'lagot ka talaga sa akin' for sure it was him. it's always Ohm who would do this and that, hindi na ako mag tataka pa.

as I entered the room I saw him peacefully sleeping, I'm sorry but you don't deserve sleep right now. nag mamadali akong lumapit dito at patalon na dagan ang ginawa ko para mapahiga sa itaas niya.

I heard him hiss in pain kaya mas dinoble ko ang bigat ko, "what the fuck?! get out of my top Nanon!" he yelled as he tried to push me off.

malaki lang katawan niya but I am much stronger than him. hindi ko ito pinansin at mas dinoble pa lalo ang bigat ko which he struggles more.

"no! gago ka! ikaw yung tumawag kay Chimon 'no?" diretsyahang tanong ko bago ko ito batukan at dahan dahan siya pakawalan.

tinawanan lang ako nito at bigla nalang akong itinulak which causes me to land on the floor and it hit my butt pretty well.

"you punk!" saad ko bago ulit ito batukan

he sat up while rubbing his eyes, "why? did he call you?" he asked

"yes. and he asked why I called last night"

"that's the second chance I gave to you, just grab the opportunity man before I date him my self." biro nito bago ako batuhin ng unan

tinignan ko lang 'to bago ulit sumalampak sa katawan niya, this time he didn't make a fuss and let me lay down on top off him. he even caressing my head which makes me soft.

we stayed silence before I got notification.

Chimon 💬

"who ever you are, I just wanted to know why are you calling me in the middle of the night? my mother want to know this too, 'cause no one ever dared to call me in the middle of the night. so if you are normal tell me your reasons."

si Chimon. even his mother's know now, tangina talaga nito ni Ohm kahit kailan.

umupo ako at tumungo sa kama ko bago ako humiga para replyan 'to

tama rin si Ohm, he gave me a chance to finally talk to him so why should I just grab it and let the things unfold.

Nanon :
  'lets have a deal first before I tell you who I am.'

Chimon:
    what the fuck dude? I was just asking why were you calling me in the midnight, I am not even asking your name?

Nanon :
'don't worry, my offer wouldn't be that much, just say yes and you'll know.'

Chimon:
    you know what? just fuck off.

napangiti ako sa huling text nito bago tumingin kay Ohm na ramdam kong naka tingin din sa akin ngayon.

"ano na naman ba yun?" tanong ko rito bago ibato ang mini pillow ko na agad naman niyang nasalo.

ngumiti lang ito sa akin bago bumalik sa pag kakahiga at muling tumingin sa akin, "are you happy?" biglang tanong nito na kinabigla ko.

bakit kaya ganto 'to ngayon, pansin ko na 'to e. I know he cared about me but yesterday and now, he's been acting pretty weird.

tinignan ko ito at sinusubukang basahin ng tumawa ito, "tanga wala akong kailangan sayo" sabat niya.

kinunutan ko ito nang nuo bago ulit siya subukang basahin, "you just asked me if I need something to you so I said that I don't need anything from you" kibo nito nang mapansing nag tataka ako.

umiling nalang ako bago muling tumingin sa huling text ni Chimon at tinuon ang pansin sa ceiling.

"you didn't answer my question, Non." imik ni Ohm, "are you happy right now?"

ngumiti ako, my eyes still on the ceiling, "yes. sobra Ohm. thank you."

"glad to know. I'm happy for you too man"

inantay ko kung may sasabihin pa ito ngunit wala na kaya naman tinignan ko ulit ang huling text ni Chimon before deciding just to reveal my name.

Nanon:
'since I am going to reveal my name, we're now friends.'

'I'm Nanon, btw.'
