My monster (Garou X Chubby Reader)[Under Editing]

Chapter 6

"Garou wake up you lazy hunk of muscle. We got shit to do." You roughly shoved Garou.

"5 more minutes. Pleaseee." He semi-whined.

"I'll be back in 30 minutes. You better be ready."

"Ok mom." He was still half asleep, snuggling into his pillow.

"Whatever." You had to admit, you did sound like a mom but you was ready to go. 30 minutes wouldn't hurt. Taking one last glance at Garou's sleeping face, you turned his light back off and closed the door. Now... what am I gonna do for 30 minutes? I'll just watch (favorite funny show) I guess. One episode is about 30 minutes so that should be fine. You turned your show on and watched the episode like normal until one particular joke was made(or thing happened). You laughed uncontrollably hard to the point you were crying. Your laughing fit turned into a giggle fit as you replayed the scene. You kept rewinding the episode to that part and lost it each time. As you had your little laughing fit on the floor, Garou had finally walked in. He walked in and saw you clutching your stomach and sides, laughing hysterically.

"Ummm.... are you okay?" He kept his distance.

"Yeah... just... let me catch... my breath," You stood up, "That was hilarious. You ready?"

"Yep."

"Alright! Let's go!"

You grabbed Garou's hand and pulled him along. It seemed like he didn't enjoy you holding his hand so you let go. You walked to the corner store to get some snacks for Zenko and Bad. You never told Garou where you guys were going, 'he'll be fine I hope.'

You let him grab what he wanted to make up for not telling him what you'd be doing today. After leaving the corner store you were on your way to the hospital. 'Taking him to the hospital with me to go see Bad was probably... most likely... definitely a big risk that probably shouldn't be taken. I don't even have a plan to keep him calm... I'll just make him stand outside of the room... or whole hospital. I should tell him.'

"So Garou... I kinda just dragged you out of the house, apartment I mean, without telling you where we're going. So I'm gonna tell you plans for today, okay?" You played with the bag handle to calm down.

"You talk to me like I'm a child even though I'm older than you. But go ahead. What's the plan pipsqueak?" He answered, taking a sip of his drink after.

"Whatever, I'm way more mature than you. Anyway, we're going to the hospital to visit one of my friends, then visit my parents' house, then the store, then (fav store), then (other fav store), and we'll get something to eat if we need to. Don't worry about carrying all the groceries because I'm getting my car from my parents' house."

"Good because that would be too much walking."

"It's not like you have anything better to do... other than beat up heroes. Oh that reminds me, I'm not sure how you're gonna react in there so you're either gonna stand out of the room or out of the hospital."

"My reaction? Who are you visiting?" Garou tilted his head.

"..." you didn't want to say so you looked away, embarrassed.

"Y/n." He urged

"...bad." you mumbled.

"Who?"

"*sigh* Metal bat. The hero you beat up and his little sister made you stop."

"Oh. I'll be fine. As long as he doesn't touch you." He mumbled that last part so you didn't hear.

"I'll hold you to that." You guys were just a few minutes away from the hospital and you made him promise that he would be cordial with Bad and his sister. Once you got in the elevator your heart raced. You were hoping Garou didn't get into some mess. You stepped out of the elevator and walked to Bad's room. He didn't know you were visiting today and he definitely wouldn't be expecting to see Garou. You knocked on the door a few times and Zenko opened it with an irritated look that changed to a joyful one when she realized it was you.

"Y/N!" She yelled before jumping up for a hug.

"Hey Z. How's your brother?"

"He's better. He's actually getting released in a few days."

"Awesome. I brought you some snacks." You handed her the bag of snacks.

"Thanks!"

You waltzed in and greeted Bad. He was shocked at first but it passed quickly. He seemed happy until he saw Garou standing behind you. His eyes narrowed and he didn't take his eyes off your infamous friend.

"What's he doing here?" Metal bat growled.

"Please don't get mad. He's my best friend and I haven't seen him in a really long time and I missed hanging out with him so he's running errands with me. I already made him promise that he won't hurt you and you can trust him... despite what happened last time you guys met." You begged with your hands clasped together.

"As long as he doesn't hurt you or Zenko I'm fine." He relaxed into his bed. Garou waved at him with a smirk on his face and sat down to talk with Zenko. They were getting along pretty well to my surprise. They made each other laugh. He's pretty good with kids which is super unexpected.  You talked with Bad for a bit until you got an idea. You had remembered how Garou's cuts healed when you put my hands on his chest and they were glowing. You thought it would work if you could get into that mindset again.

"Hey Bad, I saw some cuts on your cheeks. I was helping Garou one time and my hands started glowing and his cuts went away. Can I try that on you?"

"Sure. I trust ya." He waved his hand, signaling you to go ahead.

"Cool. This won't hurt... I think." You put your hand on his cheek and closed your eyes.

Bad's POV

When Y/n put her hand on my face I felt myself blush. I'm glad she didn't see but I'm sure she felt my cheeks burning. Her hand was so soft and warm. I smiled as I saw the glow she told me about. It felt good. She opened her eyes and was excited to tell me the cut were gone and she was eager to keep going. I didn't mind so I let her heal the cuts on my face. I saw Zenko look at me and laugh. Y/n put her hand on my head and I was confused but then I remembered that I told her I had a really bad headache. Knowing her and how she loves to experiment, she was probably tryna get rid of it which actually worked. Her touch was so soft and calming. I wanted her to stay and heal me more but she probably has things to do. My hand unconsciously touched hers, I pulled it off my head and looked at it. They're pretty small compared to mine. It made sense though, she is smaller and shorter than me after all.

"That felt... nice. You have some pretty mystical hands, ya know."

"Heh it's not much but I'm working on it. Here I brought you some snacks." She said as she put a chip in my mouth. She loves to baby me more than she does Zenko. Its kinda embarrassing honestly. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

"Well we gotta go. Y/n's got a lot of errands to run." Garou said as he put one of his arms around her shoulders.

"Oh yeah. Thanks for remembering Garou. Let's go. By guys!"

"Stay safe." I said. Zenko hugged her and told her bye.

Garou's POV

Zenko is a pretty nice little girl. Kinda mature for her age but she's modest. She told me her brother liked Y/n, which I didn't wanna believe at first, then again who wouldn't. Then she proved her point and made me watch his facial expressions as Y/n talked to him and healed him. I'm not the jealous type but it was pissing me off. I had to stop it. Yeah, saying she had more errands to run was an excuse to get her alone but at least it was true. She said her goodbyes and we left. Once we got out of the room, we walked to the elevator. I was still a little angry until I felt fingers intertwine with my own. I looke down and saw Y/n looking up and smiling that adorable, mischievous smile at me.

"You were jealous weren't you?"

"No." I looked elsewhere

"We might not have seen each other in a long time but you haven't changed. I know when you're lying."

"Shut up."

"Don't worry. I'll never leave you. Even if you hate me." She gave a closed eye smile, "Why're your hands so cold?" She asked as she snuggled into my arm. Her words made me smile a bit. Knowing that she won't leave me again made me forget about everything else. After leaving the hospital, we finished our errands.
