My monster (Garou X Chubby Reader)[Under Editing]

Chapter 1

*Knock knock knock*

"Who the hell- WHO IS IT?" I yelled from my living room.

"Sai and Genos."

"IT'S OPEN!"

Saitama and Genos walked into my apartment and greeted me. It was just the 3 of us in the whole building and nobody cared about rent so I just settled into an apartment. We met earlier this year and we've already became good friends.

"Hey guys. What's up?" I leaned back on the couch and relaxed.

"We just came over to hang out... I also have a question." Saitama sat at the coffee table in front of the couch.

"Yes?"

"You used to train under Bang, right?"

"Yep."

"So do you know any cool moves? Can you fight? Oooh I know! Do you have any powers?"

"I mean... I can kinda fight and I trained with him for a while so I guess I know some cool moves, but they're pretty basic. I don't have powers though, I wish I was cool like you two."

"Y/n, I think you're strong and you possibly might have some power, you just haven't unleashed them yet. Don't you agree master?" Genos politely joined in the conversation.

"Yeah. I think you just need to push yourself a little harder and you'll be a hero like us. You can train with us if you like."

"I'm not so sure about th-" Out of nowhere monsters crashed into my apartment. One tackled me and we went through the wall and fell onto the pavement.

"Ok what the hell?! MY LIVING ROOM!YOU ASSHOLE!" The monster lunged at me and my reflexes from training made me side kick him through the chest and follow with a punch and uppercut elbow. He was dead after that but to make sure I stomped on its head.

"Y/n are y- Oh. You killed it. That was quick." Saitama said

"Yeah... Uh oh I'm late to work. You wanna come with?" My phone had some dust on it so I wiped it off.

"Sure." Saitama and Genos jumped out of the whole in my wall. We all looked up to see the damage once they were out.

"Hmmm... I should probably get that fixed. Then I have to work overtime. Welp there goes my freetime for the next few weeks. It was nice knowing y'all."

"Oh, don't worry about that. We'll pay for it." Saitama continued to stare at the hole.

"Really?! Thank you so much Sai! Your next 5 orders at the restaurant are on me. You too Genos." I tried to hide excitement but wanted to show gratitude.

"Even the fancy food?"

"Especially the fancy food," Saitama fist pumped with a satisfied smile. We walked to the restaurant I work at, having a nice conversation along the way. When we got there, Saitama looked like he had just got to heaven, "Thanks again Sai. You guys can wait at a table while I go check in."

"Alrighty."

I went in the back and started a conversation with my colleague/friend.

"Hey Rin. How you doin?"

"Hey Y/n! I'm doing fine. How are you?"

"I'm good. The strangest thing happened today. I was just hanging out with Sai and Genos then some monsters crashed into my apartment and I killed one... but like out of instinct y'know?I did train under Bang for a bit but it's been a while since I've done martial arts."

"Seems like we have a hero in the making." Rin teased

"Ha-ha. Whatever. Let's get out there it's almost lunch rush."

Me, Rin, our other friend Mina, and a few of our other coworkers were handling the lunch rush. I was taking orders and bringing people their food. When I wasn't doing that, I was cleaning off tables. I'm glad my uniform wasn't a dress because the worst would've happened as much as I was bending over. I finished cleaning Saitama and Genos' table and we said our goodbyes and I walked in the back.

"My feet hurt so much. Moving a lot is not my thing."

"Then how else are you gonna make money? Do you want to cook instead?" Mina asked.

"Yes. Please. Anything but being out on the floor."

"Good, I needed to get out of this kitchen. It gets cramped in here." She took her apron off.

"Thanks Minaaa." I said as I fist bumped her.

The orders were endless. Even after the rush they kept flowing in. Me and Mina switched to our original duties. As I was cleaning a guy slapped my ass and cat called at me.

"Hey sweetheart. Why don't you come here and take a seat? Let's get to know each other if you know what I mean."

I turned around and looked at him as he continued to try and touch and catcall me. Fed up with it, I punched him in the face. He tried to move and avoid the punch but he was stuck in place, some kind of blue aura was around him. When I realized it was there it vanished and he got up and stormed out but not before calling me a bitch. His friend apologized for his behavior and actions and left me a pretty nice tip. I thanked him and went back to cleaning tables. About 2 hours later, my shift was over and I went on my way after telling everyone bye.

I walked home and felt like I was being watched or like someone was looking in my direction. I looked over and saw a guy with spiky white hair and what looked like martial arts clothes. I smiled so I didn't look weird and he smiled back and I went on my way.

Garou's POV

I finally decided to sit down after fighting a class C hero. Wasn't very satisfying and I was bored. At least the bench was comfortable. Since there was nothing for me to do or anyone to beat up at the moment, I just let myself rest. It was pretty peaceful until I saw a person walking. At first I thought it was another hero to beat up but I had to be sure so I watched. Then I noticed they had curves. It was a short, chubby, girl around my age. She was wearing sweatpants and a graphic tee, it looked good on her. She seemed kinda alarmed that I was watching her, understandable. She looked at me and smiled and I grinned back and she kept walking. I swear I've seen her somewhere. Eh, whatever, time to go fight.

*an hour later* *pov changed*

'How the hell did I lose-' was the last thing that went through Garou's before he passed out.
