"Sweatshirt?"

"Checked,"

"Pajamas?"

"Checked,"

"Toiletries?"

"All in," Shawn said as he closed his luggage and threw his body on the bed. "Ughhh, why do I have to leave you tomorrow," he said rolling around to face my side.

"I know right, I'm really really sad right now," I said before my lips pouted like a child that's not allowed to eat chocolate. "I just met you for a couple of days and tomorrow you'll be gone for weeks."

"But this is the last leg, though," he said bringing his side of face onto his palm, "I'll play 5 more shows and it's done... like literally done," a sigh escaped his lips.

"Every end of tour has its own bittersweet feeling, huh?" I said as his lazy brown eyes met mine.

"Yeah, especially this one," he said combing his hair with his hand, "It's like SM The Tour, but without you showing up here and there," a smile knotted on his face.

"Uh-uh, cut it. You were with Camila back then, though, cheesy lovebirds" I rolled my eyes and stuck out my tongue.

He replied with a giggle, "I remembered how Aaliyah got mad at me for months because I didn't choose you over her." He shook his head, "And I didn't realize the news made your heart broke," he pouted his lips.

"You've been there, Mendes," I said bopping his nose with my pointing finger, and then sent a smile to him. "Good old days," I sighed, "I wonder how she's doing right now. It must be hard for her too, this entertainment industry drama."

"I thought you hated her," Shawn said with a doubting-annoying expression all over his face.

"I hated her for breaking you apart and for her stupid agency, but it must be hard for her too, you know. I believe she loved you too," I shrugged, "Anyway, YOU'RE GOING TO MEET AGNES TOMORROW!" I said out loud with my face only an inch away from his.

"Yeah, and it's going to be awkward. I can portrait it in my mind already," he rolled his eyes and brought his two palms under his head.

"You, that's you Shawn, of all possibilities why do you always capture the negative first?" My eyebrows furrowed at him.

"Just to be prepared for the worst, you know," he lifted his shoulders briefly and took a big breath.

"Ugh," that's the only thing came out from my mouth.

"Anyway, how is it again? How should I start this?" He asked like a first-timer.

Shawn's phone ringtone interrupted our conversation abruptly. He lifted his body heavily and reached out for his phone,
"Who is it calling at this time- Oh, it's Mom," the frown disappeared from his face almost instantly. He motioned one second with his index finger up and he waited for the facetime to connect. "Hey, Mom," he said once Karen's face appeared on the screen.

"Hey, honey. You're going tomorrow, right?" Said Karen from the other side of the call. "Yep, you haven't slept?" Shawn asked.

"We're about to, but decided to call you first," a smile appeared on her face, "Honey, it's Shawn," she nudged Manny whose face is now on the screen.

"Hey, Dad. What are you up to?" He said as he took two pillows to support his back against the headboard.

"He's fussing over political news all over Twitter," said Karen who's back covering the screen, "And now he's grumpy," she rolled her eyes and giggles filled the room. "Where's, Liyah?"
