CHAPTER 18

"It's nice out here, isn't it?" Mingi asked.

"Maybe if it wasn't like -4 degrees out here!"

Mingi laughed and shook his head.
The two were sitting on a log, a couple feet away from the flames of the bonfire. They were clothed in a few layers of sweaters and hoodies, gloves, hats, and most importantly, wrapped together in blankets.

"Cmon, you got to admit it. Isn't it kinda romantic." The younger looked at Yunho and smirked.

"If you weren't the care taker of me, I'd get up and leave right now."

"Damn, you don't have to be so harsh. What's up with you lately?"

"Nothing, I'm just playing with you. I like being out here together while the sun sets."

"Aww, that's more like it!" Mingi squished Yunho's cheek.

"Andddd, I take that back."

Mingi slapped Yunho's head in disappointment.

"Oh come on! Why did you have to do that you jerk!"

"Isn't it obvious? You're the one being the jerk. I just want to enjoy myself out here-"

"Fine! If you want to enjoy yourself so much, I'm leaving!" Yunho unwrapped himself from the blankets and stood up. But before he could walk away, Mingi grabbed him by the waist and forced him to sit down on his lap.

"Mingi! Why did you do that?! Let me go!"

"No. You didn't let me finish! I was going to say, I just want to enjoy myself out here with you. Sheesh, so fast to jump to conclusions."

"Tch." Yunho crossed his arms and made sure Mingi couldn't see his face, because he felt like he was blushing.

Mingi wrapped his arms around Yunho and cuddled into his back. "I love you~"

"O-Oh u-ummmmmmmmmm."

"Shh, you don't have to say anything. Just turn around."

"What! Why!? That's weird.."

"Cmon, just do it."

Yunho huffed and stood up and sat down on Mingi's lap while facing him.

"Let's play a game."

"Uhh.. what game?"

Mingi smirked, "Let's do a staring contest, but whoever blinks first, has to kiss the other person."

"No! That's not right.. We're both guys."

"So? It's 2020, us guys can love whoever we want. Plus, no one will know! It's just between us, isn't it?"

"L-love..? But we don't love e-each other...?"

"I love you, dummy."

"Okay whatever, but i don't want to play!"

"Oh! Now I see. You're toooo scared, isn't that right?" Mingi knew this trick would work on Yunho. He would do anything to prove he wasn't scared of something.

"Hah! Who's scared!? That would beeeee..." Yunho pretended to think, "you!"

"Oh, getting cocky now? Let's see who wins then! Loser."

"Game on!"

"1.. 2.. 3.. go!"

They began staring into each other's eyes. Mingi's eyes started to burn right away, because of the heat from the flames. On the other hand, Yunho's eyes started to burn right away because of the cold air hitting his eyes.
After about 10 seconds, Mingi couldn't help but blink. The heat was too much.

"Haha! Guess who one! Not you!" Yunho clapped his hands.

"You're so childish. But.. now i get to kiss you!"

"Wait! No! Dont! i just wanted to prove that i wasn't..." Yunho internally fave palmed for falling into Mingi's trap.

"Scared?" Mingi evilly laughed.

"Oh no."

"Now i get to kiss you!"

"Oh come on, this is more like a prize for you for losing." Yunho internally cried. "Just do it!" He squeezed his eyes shut and waited to receive his punishment.

Mingi smiled to himself. Now's my chance.
Mingi cupped Yunho's face and slowly closed the gap in between them. He pressed his lips against Yunho's, which completely shocked him, because he wasn't expecting a kiss on the lips. He couldn't move away now, because Mingi was much stronger then he was, plus he didn't want to make it really awkward between them.
But he must admit, his whole mind became foggy because of how unreal it felt and how happy he was..?
He decided to place his hands on Mingi's shoulders and kiss back.
The younger was shocked about the sudden response back. This was another opportunity to go in deeper (not like that ԅ(☉Д☉)... but we'll get to that later (ㆆᴗㆆ))Mingi bit his lip as a request to enter his mouth. Yunho allowed so by parting his lips and letting Mingi's tongue roam the inside of his mouth. They kissed passionately and slowly, before they both pulled away from the kiss to breathe.
Yunho was immediately too shy to face Mingi, so he just hugged him to hide his face.
Yunho was shocked from what he just did with Mingi, but Mingi internally screamed in victory as he hugged back.

Yunho tightened his arms around Mingi. "I love you too."

Sorry the 'kiss scene' was like really bad, but it's 1AM and my brain has no brain cells left because of quarantine.
