CHAPTER 10

After work ended, Mingi and Yunho had some fun going around town. Mingi got ice cream from a nearby ice cream shop. It was a chocolate sundae with brownies and waffle cone pieces.
He decided to share some with Yunho, but after a few minutes, he threw it all up on the floor. The workers were disgusted, but they were glad it didn't come from a human or the mess would've been awful.
Mingi apologized to Yunho hundreds of times and the bird ended up biting the other to tell him to shut up. Mingi searched up if birds could eat chocolate, and it turns out, they can't.
He was so embarrased for feeding Yunho chocolate and having no clue what side effects it had.

Mingi was walking on the streets as the sky darkened. Yunho had totally forgotten he could transform anytime and he started panicking, flapping his wings and chirping to get Mingi's attention.

"W-what is it Yunho!!?? Is there something wrong?? Are you dying from the chocolate i gave you???" he exclaimed as he panicked.

Yunho continued to squawk at him while desperately trying to tell him that he was gonna transform any second.
To make things even worse, people were staring at them because of the bird's odd behavior and a grown man panicking over it.

"OH SHITTT!" Mingi finally realized what Yunho was trying to tell him and ran for his car.

Mingi doesn't think he'll make it in time. He was about 5 minutes away.
He ran as fast as he could, but unfortunately...

Yunho. Transformed. In. Front. Of. EVERYONE.

"Fuck." Mingi and Yunho whispered under their breath.

Everyone was confused out if their minds as most of them covered their eyes or attempted to look away. Yunho was naked. On the streets. Completely nothing on but 2 casts. Some people laughed, some people even screamed.
Mingi hurriedly took off his long coat and handed it over to Yunho.
He took the coat and quickly put it on in attempt to cover his naked body. It didn't do much. But it was better than nothing. Unfortunately it didn't cover... you know...
Yunho's face was completely red as they hastily walked to Mingi's car, making sure that Yunho's leg was okay, and got in.
They both panted as they buckled their seatbelts.

"Well.. That was horrific." Yunho said in shame and embarrassment.

Mingi scratched his head and turned on the car, "I'm sorry Yunho. If only i understood what you were trying to tell me, you wouldn't have literally died in embarrassment."

"No, it's okay Mingi. I just hope nobody saw me transform."

Mingi awkwardly nodded and began to drive his way back home.

Mingi gave clothes for Yunho to put on once they got home. He laid them out on the bed and let Yunho do his thing.
Yunho grabbed the shirt the other gave him and was about to slip it over his head, until someone hugged his waist. It was no other but Mingi.
He wrapped his arms around Yunho's slim waist and rested his head on his shoulder.

"M-Mingi! I'm changing!" Yunho panicked.

"I know."

"?????"

"I'm very sorry for today."

"M-Mingi.. I know, you already told me at least a thousand times today. L-Let go of me.." Yunho put the shirt down and turned around to face Mingi.

Their faces were inches apart. They stared into each other's eyes. Mingi's eyes were full of lust and sorrow, while Yunho was flustered and embarrased.
Yunho's heart pounded and the tips of his ears turned red.
Mingi slowly let go of Yunho and backed away an inch or two. Yunho was about to turn around, but Mingi gently pushed him down onto the bed and locked him in between his arms.

"Mingi, please get off.."

"Am i a burden to you?"

"What? No, of course not! Why do you say that?"

"I don't know. I just feel like i ruin everything for you. Isn't that right?"

"No.. You don't ruin everything. I have fun with you everyday, even though i threw up and embarrased myself today. You saved my life too. You're not a burden at all." Yunho said sincerely.

"Really? I'm not?"

"No, not at all."

"Do you love me?" Mingi asked with no hesitation.

Yunho's eyes widened in shock, "D-do I love you?? M-me?"

Mingi nodded.

Do I..? Yunho asked himself. He wasn't sure what type of 'love' he was taking about. Brotherly love? Love as in, friendship love? Relationship love???

"What do you mean..?" Yunho asked.

Mingi didn't say anything, instead, he leaned down and kissed Yunho.
Yunho's heart raced even harder than before, if that was even possible. He felt like he was going to explode. The kiss wasn't long, but instead it was short and sweet.

"M-Mingi.."

Mingi realized what he had just done. He snapped himself out of it and quickly got up.

"I-I'm sorry." Mingi turned around in embarrassment and rushed out of the room.

Yunho sat up in confusion as his heart's pace slowed down. But he somehow felt, hurt?
