CHAPTER 30

[Seonghwa]

It was quite early in the morning, when he went out to do some things. He doesn't always go out during the day because of many reasons. The main reason was that he lives near the city, and since wolves don't magically pop up in the city, he needed to do things cautiously.
Today was a day where he needed to head out. He had decided to visit a friend of his to ask for advice.
Unfortunately, his friend is a cat, and he has an owner who lives in the city. Seonghwa hated going to the city for obvious reasons. It's risky.
He needed to hide in dark and empty places where no one was around. Luckily for him, it was still quite dark outside because of how early in the morning it was.
Seonghwa was sniffing around the area until something familiar hit his nose.

This smell.. I know it from somewhere. But.. why would something so familiar be located in the city?

His mind wondered off to the familiar smell and had completely forgotten that he needed to be cautious.

"Oh my god!!! It's a wolf!!!"

"Holy shit what's a wolf doing in the city?"

"Stay back!!"

"Run!!"

Seonghwa cursed at himself, but then it hit him. The familiar smell.. was Yunho.
Since he was already discovered, he decided to just yolo it. He needed to find Yunho ASAP. He sniffed around hastily until the scent led him to a certain bird.

A blue jay, huh? Quite odd, but i need to get out of here.

Seonghwa decided to quickly grab Yunho by picking him up with his mouth and running off to a safer place as fast as he could. Of course, be made sure he didn't hurt Yunho.
After about 5 minutes of sprinting through the city, with of course a lot of ruckus, he managed to arrive at his house. There was a doggy door attached to the front door, so he simply squeezed himself through and dropped Yunho off carefully.

[Yunho]

Ugh.. gross. Where am I?? This is one nice house though.

Yunho was absolutely covered in slobber and it made him wanna gag, but that's not the problem here.
He stood up into his feet and looked at the wolf that was now sitting in front of him. Yunho could tell that this was no ordinary wolf. It wasn't eating him and it was very intelligent. Somehow, he wasn't scared. He was just curious and confused on what was going on.
But then, he could hear something. Something or someone was talking to him.

"Hi, Yunho. It's me, Seonghwa. I know this is all sudden, but hear me out."

Yunho couldn't believe it. Apparently Seonghwa was clearly talking to him but it was clear that he wasnt anywhere around. It sounded like a voice in his head.

"You must be confused, because you aren't responding. I am communicating with you by telepathy. The wolf in front of you is me, Seonghwa."

Yunho was beyond shook. This wolf. In front of him. Was Seonghwa??

Shit did i hit my head or something?? I don't remember sitting my head tho.. Yunho thought.
Uhhh how do i respond tHo?

Yunho just stared at Seonghwa and try to tell him something but he really didn't know how to.

"Uhhh, how does this thing work?? Am i doing this right?"

"Hahaha! You did it." Seonghwa smiled at Yunho.

Yunho could tell he was happy because the corners of his mouth were lifted and his eyes seemed to disappear

"Woaaahh.. Really!? I didn't know this was possible. How is this possible?" Yunho asked.

"I don't know myself."

"Wait wait wait, i'm getting distracted. First of all.. WHERE AM I????? A-AND, AND, HOW ARE YOU A W-wOlf? Are you going to eat me?? Tell Mingi it was nice living with him." He internally cried.

"What are you going on about? Are you crazy? Why would I eat you? I don't think a cute little blue jay would be tasty anyways. Anyways, we're at my house."

"You're.. not going to eat me? Thank god. But, didn't you technically just kidnap me. How am i gonna get hOmMmMe?" Yunho whined.

"Uhh well, I didn't plan to kidnap you at all. I was trying to visit a friend in the city but then i recognized your scent and got distracted. I was trying to avoid humans at all costs cuz i'm obviously a wolf and wolves aren't suppose to be in the city, but because i got distracted, i got caught. I had no other choice but to just grab you and go."

"NO OTHER CHOICE?! BITCH YOU CLEARLLLYYYYY HAD A FEW OPTIONS, ARe yOU CRAZY!? What if Mingi finds out!!?? HE'S GOING TO KILL US BOTH WITHOUT HESITATION!!!"

"Calm down, Yunho. There's no need to worry. There's no way Mingi is gonna find out. Plus, isn't this pretty convenient?"

"CONVENIENT!? What do you mEANnn???!!!"

"We're going out tonight aren't we? I could just let you stay her-"

"About that. Uh well."

"Hm?"

"Today I found out i had um, plans, so i can't go out."

"Plans? What could you possibly be doing?"

Yunho cursed at himself. He just knew Seonghwa was gonna ask what he was doing, but he said it anyways.

"I'm afraid i can't tell you that."

"I see. That's unfortunate."

"Yeah. So, can you err, take me home now?"

"I cant do that."

"WHAT WHY??"

"I don't want people finding me. It's too risky."

"UGhh, but didn't you say before that you were meeting up with a friend in the city? It won't hurt to risk it again."

"Ah. You got a point."

"Exact-"

"BUT!!! I want to hang out with you now, since you can't hang out with me later! How bout that?"

God help me. Yunho cried.
