you. broke. up. with. me.
tell me why i keep wishing on stars
that this isn't the end
when you ended things
tell me why i still think you love me
why i can't stop the memories on repeat in my head
you loved me so much
my heart won't listen to the fact that
things change
people change
emotions change
so i'm here with all the hurt a heart can (can't) take
hoping wishing praying
that you miss me like i miss you
that i'm not just a name on a list
of girls who trusted boys when they said i love you
