i hope you think of me when you're with her.
i hope you think of me when you watch our favorite show and wonder for even just a split second how things would be if i was watching it with you.
i hope you think of me when you drive around, and wish i was in the passenger seat.
i hope time heals your wounds and you remember that loving me was good. that it was good for longer than it hurt. that we were so good together for so long.
i hope you think of me as much as i think of you. i hope you haven't stopped wanting me or hoping that there's a future for us.
i hope you are focusing on yourself right now but i'm still in the back of your mind and your heart can't quite let go. i don't know if that makes me optimistic or a hopeless romantic or just a fool
i hope you know that i am ready to show you love and that i always loved you, and i hope when you think of me i make you happy, but it's bittersweet because you still feel the sting of missing me.
a part of me hopes we are strong enough to overcome this and find our way back together.
