THIRD PERSON POV

The news of the imperial and noble consort came back from their trip to the town all drunk was informed to Elpis by the palace maid. Elpis smiled when she heard the news.

"Did you say the imperial consort projectile vomit all over the lower concubines who tried to change her clothes? How did they handle her?" The maids were hiding her amusement.

"They carried the imperial consort up the stairs towards her room. The lower concubines were trying to keep this as a secret from her highness. But this maid was given the order from her highness to be your informant." Elpis smiled before she asked the maids to open the door.

"Wow, sister. You look amazing in a dress. It suits you perfectly." Ragnar was trying to make a conversation with his sister. Elpis smiled, knowing that it was not his fault.

"Ragnar, it's not your fault. You don't have to feel guilty." Elpis tried to reason.

"No, sister. Empress dowager has gone too far this time. Sister, I have to warn you that today the second prince's father in law will be at court. He demands to see you. I guess that the second princess told her father about her 'mistreatment' and now she wants her father to interfere with the court decision." Elpis has already guessed that that's what the second princess will do.

"What can he do? He's just a king of a small kingdom. Sure, he does have massive military power. He could even overthrow the Empire if he wishes to but do you think he has the guts to go against me. Ragnar, sit on the throne and let me stand by your side together with Sophia. I will only speak when I needed to. But when the time comes for me to act, you should just let me handle the matter, okay?" Ragnar nodded his head.

He knows that his sister has her plan. He won't be interfering because that's the best choice.

Ragnar sat on the throne when he entered the courtroom, followed by Elpis and Sophia. The ministers and the officials were weirded out by this, but none of them dares to question the royal siblings.

"His majesty, the king of Wind Kingdom, arrived." The herald announced. Ragnar was astounded when the king didn't even show him or his sister any respect.

"Is this how the Wind Kingdom showed their respect to the Empire?" Ragnar voiced out. The king ignored the emperor's remark.

"I am here because my precious daughter is suffering! What makes you think you can easily bully my daughter, the crown princess of the Wind Kingdom?!" The king ignored the etiquette in court by shouting at the emperor.

"Your majesty, maybe it's not wise for you to attack the emperor like that. Please remember that you're talking to the emperor and this is his palace." A wise minister bows and tried to avoid any unnecessary turmoil between the Kingdom of Wind and the Empire.

"It's too late! The moment you scoundrel hurt my daughter is the moment you made an enemy out of my kingdom! How dare you hurt my precious daughter! How dare you hurt the second prince! HOW DARE YOU TARNISHED MY NAME AS THE GREAT KING OF THE WIND KINGDOM!" The king screamed in court.

"Please calm down, sire. Your action is not a proper way for you to show your dissatisfactions." Again, the minister tried to control the dire situation.

"Present me the princess general who hurt my daughter! If you refuse to heed my demands, I'll destroy the capital! "the emperor's advisor suddenly came into the courtroom bringing dire news.

"Your majesty! There is approximately 10,000 soldier from the Kingdom of Wind standing by at the entrance to the capital." Elpis raised an eyebrow when she heard the news.
