Chapter 8

Adiva's POV

It has just been a week & look here you are,my sub conscious laughs at me,as Mike walks out on me,I sure invited this trouble and now i m offering it a room.

"Are you ohk? Do you wanna talk about it?"Adriana asks conserned.

"yes",i mouth,

I'm not a terrible person,I wasn't cheating on him,I can't believe what just happened,i wasn't expecting him here,its all a misunderstanding,i can't afford to lose him,I spoke in a go ,I wipe the tears falling down my cheeks and my hands grip my head tight and i sit on the edge of my bed.
You don't know,infact no one could know,what he has been for me all along these years,I had nobody but him and Christina through out my entire life since i could remember growing up.My school life,my social life and just every birthday,every christmas,every celebration revolved around them both.He was there when i lost my dad,i sob,Nancy rubs her hand over mine.
I cant let him walk over me like that,I love him more than anything,he can't leave me in the mid,it hasn't ever happened before.
He is the one i have seen my childhood with,we have plans for future,we have had major fights & arguments.I'll drown if he leaves me like that.I cringe.
"Give it time,let him stir clear his mind of this all"Nancy says wiping clean my cheeks.
"She is right,give him time to absorb and then analyse,i'm sure he feels the same as you do and he ll call you back or you could always call him"Adriana continues.

I need some fresh air,I'll go to madhouse if i keep sitting here and think about it and i need to see Kevin to thank him,i owe him to bring me here.I decide on to take a quick shower and make my way to bathroom.It is one terrible start of a day and i'm exhausted,stressed and in need of sleep.Its almost been 3 hours that he left,i attempt to call Mike to find his phone switched off.Disappointment overpowered in me.

I call Kevin and he picks up on the second bell

"Hey,how are you feeling now?"he voice sound fresh and calm.
"Listen Kevin,i'm sorry for all that happened,i owe you an explanation,where can i see you?"i sound urgent.
"If you are ready,i'll pick you in 15 minutes and then we can decide where to head"he suggests.
"Ohk,i'll see you then"

Adriana is ready to grab herself a meal,and Nancy is occupied in her laptop and orders lunch in the room.I haven't seen Derby in a while,i escape my room to see Derby next door.She is on a call,she hangs up to greet me,
"what is it with your puffy eyes,had no sleep?"she scoffs.
"Mike was here in the morning,he broke up with me"i gulp.
"you look like you'll flake out any moment"Derby enunciates.
"No,well i m going out to see Kevin,i owe him to thank him for last night"i tell her.
"oh,i guess you'ld need some make up to cover up your swollen eyes"Derby points out my puffy eyes.

My cellphone buzzes with a text from Kevin that reads

*Reach C block enterance,waiting there*

I use a mild touch up and foundation near my eyes and take her leave.

He gets out of car when i reach,he holds open the passenger seat for me & i climb in.The music is little louder and its trance,the car has an aroma,a familiar fragrance invades my sense that i remember is familiar from the shirt of him that i wore last night and i hand him back.

"Where to miss?"he asks in his usual charming self.

"Anywhere,if it helps me to get rid and far of all this"i say turning down the music.
"Ohk,leave it on me then"he flashes his bad boy smile.
"Where are we heading?"i question looking at him.
"I know a very famous Restaurant & Bar here,if that suits you"he looks back.
