Chapter 35

Ivan's POV

"2 shots of Jagermeister please" I ask the bartender.

Jamie and I are chilling at the regular bar in the evening and I announce the drink is on me.

Jamie hits the conversation about Nancy.

"What exactly are you guys upto?"

"I dont really know,whats on her mind.
She never really let me cross the friendzone and sometimes she herself make such advances that give me mixed signals."

"Havent you guys ever talked about it?"

"I am afraid,I want to give it time."

"How did it all start and what do you feel about her exactly?"

"I never really saw her beyond a good friend but soon she started throwing subtle mixed hints my way and there in Miami,we nearly kissed each other.
Now when she was on vacation,she would hardly call me up,unless I ld dial to talk and now when she comes back,she behaves like she has missed me forever and wanted me to accompany her for the welcome party."

"What do I have to Infer from it?"

"Man,these girls are most complicated creatures to understand,I would better reserve my suggestion on it.I would rather ask you to talk to her about it.

These mystical creatures are so self opinionated that they think we men folk need to know just everything,and all about their mind games, when is a yes and when a no,when they are actually sad and when tgey are supermad,when they can storm or wind and when they are suceptible to rain."

"True words"

"By the way,I wanted to inform you something about that the little bird told me"

"Nancy is and has always beein spiting Adiva and Kevin's relationship.She seemingly likes Kevin."

"Man,I have started loving that girl and thats just not my choice now,She has made me her puppet but I wont lose her to Kevin anyday.

I have always lived in a happy family with all the love and happiness,feeling of care and selflessness.

I have just dated one women so far and I was dead serious with her,until I saw her making out with my other friend who ckuld afford her luxurious living.

I couldnt deal that rejection and vowed to myself to set out on to find a beautiful soul,a girl who is more beautiful than her and a girl who I coukd really show off and the one who wouldnt break my heart

And now as I am on my pursuit,I wont let the same thing happen with Nancy aswell,at no cost I would lose her to kevin.

My worst fears realise and now I shall speed up to make some quick moves"

"I am here,If you need any help."

"Thanks brother,would you arrange a special date plan for me,a beautiful serene surrounding,romantic ambience,where I could take her on a real date and ask her all at once"

"Why not,leave it all on me to set your date,after all I am experienced in this field,My girl wouldnt have let me at peace if I didnt propose her officially in all filmy style"

"I ll proove her that kevin is not worth him and I shall make sure that Kevin is unmasked real soon"

...

I manage to call Nancy to sneak out for a party as I have told her.

She is dressed all in a beautiful long black dress and I curtuously take her hand and help her to the table.
She looks confused, probably wondering what kinda party is it.

Before she could ask something the voilens play and I ask for her hand to dance.

She opens her mouth to ask me again but i shut her with my finger and she obliges,carrying her dress she moves with me at the voilen.

Its not that I havent danced with her ever but this day is a special one and I some how am affirmative about it that Nancy wouldn't deny me tonight.

I move closer to her and in her ear I wisper

"I arranged all this for you to tell you how much I have loved you,you have got me going crazy with the whirl wind of these thoughts constantly"

She stops dancing and looks into my eyes,my heart beat pounding hard,my heart almost in my heart and I was waiting for her to answer.

She smiled with the glittering eye and say "I need time,I tell you about it"

I smile back at her,and the thought of her actually considering my offer delights me.

We finally sit dor fine dining,she places orders and I find this to be right time to talk about kevin.

Now when I am assured that she is considering my offer,I feel much at peace.

I am dazed to hear all about Kevin and Derby story from the welcome party that Nancy narrates and tells me that she hasnt talked to anybody about it.

"Ivan,I wont let that man ruin more lives,he has already done enough with adiva breaking uo with Mike and now his making out with Derby at Adiva's back,I wont let him go easy on this.
And about that bitch Derby, I already knew was such an asshole and now I feel both Derby and Kevin are same breed."

"You know I always thought that it was you who informed Mike about all the events timely"

"Exactly,I never did and now we see who was behind all of this,remember Mike was informed about Adiva's freshers stint and then the trip"

"So Derby has been doing all this and Kevin has been using Adiva and Derby knows all about it for so long,Great!"

"Ivan I want you to promise me to help me get this truth out,we cant let Kevin have his way and serve his ulterior motive with anybody he wants at his will"

"I am all with you,I have a plan,J think we have to be daring enough to do this task"

"Daring and incontestable,thats the target"

We join hands and look into each others eyes,setting that mission and atleast I feel secure about the fact that Nancy is not siding with Kevin or even considering any possibility of going to him

So we bid good night with a good note and I drop her off at dorm,leave with contentment in my heart that happiness is not far away.I could almost hear it around.

This girl has made me swoon over her and I feel like getting lost in her forever.
My heart swells with hope and happiness,after long,I am not able to sleep since reality feela much better than the dreams.
