Adiva's POV
"Life has never been much awaited,time never seemed to be going this slow and the distraction never was such welcoming."
In the midst of class,we sit,exchanging messages and conversation.By all means,we were super excited for Miami weekend,more because I havent ever been there.I suspect it to be a wind of change.
Ivan's text reads
"The bus has been booked and we are leaving this friday, late at afternoon."
"Wohhooo"
Nancy,Kevin and I hoot altogether in the midst of class,unable to control our excitement.
And what next,professor throws us out of the class.And wohat?
We obviously & willingly oblige.I dont really undertand,why teachers believe in giving students plsure of sending them out of class and ironically tge funniest part is that they do it on punishing purpose.
I call for Derby,Adriana and Jamie from the lecture out aswell.
"So now it leaves us with tonight and tomorrow morning to make all preparations." Derby says raising her eyebrow.
"Yes lady,and guess what?,I havent yet started with my packing"
"Nor have I" Nancy and Adriana say in unison.
"We better get the essentials and the stock we would need for the way,what say?" asks Kevin.
"Lets get going,tonight is the night !" Jamie winks before leaving with Kevin.
"I ll have to call to inform Dan about it aswell" Adriana excuses herself.
"Alright,I better suggest we meet now at dinner to discuss the remains and action plan for tomorrow" I suggest them all before leaving the place.
"That leaves us with the good time to shop and pack our stuff"Derby chimes in.
As it is the last class scheduled for the day,we depart each our way,Kevin,Jamie and Ivan have the task to stock the liquor enough for the transit.
Adriana finally exits talking to Daniel and informing him.
Nancy kisses and tells us,that she would be going to the mall directly with Adriana to fetch her some flashy lingerie.
"We are going to get the same,lets catch up there in an hour after lunch" I inform Nancy and Adriana before joining Derby for lunch.
"Hard to believe, that we are actually visiting Miami,The place I have always wished to see.The beach,the beauty and everything." I say to Derby.
_____ _____ 5 hours later_____ _____
We all meet in 'The palmtree',as decided and we are all in the moment,teasing and sometimes way seriously involved in discussion,chalking out the itienary,fighting and teasing each other the next minute,As the night grew darker and platters empty, I realised the time is near,near for us to rekindle,make memories,have fun,enjoy our lives out & chuck out all the shackles of heavy bongage thoughts pricking heart each time I think about it.I really want to give a fuck less and live in the moment to death.
Kevin held my hands underneath the table,our fingres entwined,warmth of his hand soothing my chills and as I move my hand to caress his,he gets up,takes leave on the account of booking a cruise.
Jamie informs that his girlfriend would be accompanying too,that only makes us happy.Ivan takes a corner seat engaged in conversation with Nancy and Adriana is walking Daniel to his car.
Derby and I take leave immediately.

Waking up was never so easy and unlazy,not even on the birthdays' as I recal,To confront the truth the school trips and picnics with Mike were even never so enthusiastic as I am at this moment.My eyes flutter open to see the suitcase packed for the day and when I pick up my phone,I realise I have been missing calls since last day and I have numerous unanswered texts,voice messages and missed calls from Mom,Christiana and Mike ofcourse.
I feel a little careless for being silly towards all these people who fucking care for me a ton.
I start returning the calls starting from mom,on my way to washroom,and now she doesnot picks it up,obviously,she must be in some meeting as I presume.
I call Christina after mom,she snaps in her usual crying bitchy tone,complaining and whining,she is surprised when I inform her about Miami,And I expected the question she would ask next,here it comes "If i have informed about it to Mike."
"Ofcourse,I havent,he is not my dad,to permit me.I ll call him to inform not to take his permission."
"You have changed,so much Adiv"
"Hahaha..Oh yeah,I sure have,but for the good,right?"
"Anyway,I just called you to inform that Mike refused to attend peter's party on the account of taking that bitch,his neighbour's girl to shopping,he actualluly ignored me at the mall.you should really check what's the matter & to know what actually is going on,If you havent really heard from him nearly.you must!" She advicede with concern in her voice
"Are you fucking kidding me,he cancelled on his best friends birthday party to see that bloody slut,who he apparently hates in name,are you sure it was his neighbourhood girl,I cant fucking believe it man."
"Calm down girl,there might be the other side to it"I believe but I doubt that not he is a jerk I cant trust.
"You know what,I ll be leaving in the afternoon and no way on earth,I will call him to inform him about it & you better keep the things in your belly until I return"Gotcha?
"Mighty fine,you lucky bitch!" And ofcourse.
"Enjoy and have fun"Christiana blurts.
"I ll catch you as soon as I get back,take care!"
I open my voice mail box,to check out my messages from last night and I eagerly open the one from Mike.
"Hey! My mother wants me to check my grandma,so I am visiting my grand parents.I ll call you back when I return.Take care"
I fucking very well know that the bitch in the neighbour has her hometown same as that of Mike's grandparents.So its just a quality time togeather.
Well,very well!
"Fuck him,I dont care!" I tellyself.
I keep myself from venting out and instead I slip out of my pyjamas and stand underneathe the shower,Ice cold water soothes my tensed muscels and I fucking forgive and forget because I have much other things and ofcourse a best trip waiting for me ahead expecting me to be in my beat of moods to be able to enjoy every moment and I m not fucking it up for myself while he is fucking that girl he hates and calls as a bitch.
Fuck him,I save my attention and anger on catch up with a brief coffee meeting and greeting then the hectic day with all lectures goes less hectic because we still have all the energy saved in the world to scream at top of our lungs whem after the college,we bang in our rooms,collecting our luggage and bidding our cozy rooms and beds happy goodbye for the weekend.
Oh so merry to see the bus we were awaiting.Hooting and shouting like hooligans we make our way inside with all the excitement,placing our bags and luggages in the trunk.
The sun is going down the horizon,the blazing orange light sparkels in the horizon bidding us goodbye and happy journey.
