Chapter 40

Abram's P.O.V

"Whom are you texting, lover boy?" Nicholas questioned as he sat beside me peaking on my phone, making me kick him away as he laughed his arse off.

"Someone's texting their princess" he teased as he saw the name I saved on my phone.

" Shut your ass up, Nicholas" I hissed, making him laugh even harder as Sebestian joined him while Zack just smiled.

The things between me and Zack are thankfully better than before.

And as for the documents that I sent to Alex, none of us know whether he already signed it or not and as much as I dread it for sending it in anger, there's nothing that could be done now as long as Evangeline doesn't know about it, everything's good.

I don't want her to see me as everyone sees me. I don't want her to know much of a monster I am. I don't want her to ever know that I kill people just for her. I want to change myself.

"Hey we have to head to the warehouse now" Zack stated, making me frown.

" We found the one who snitched on us last week" he explained as I stood up ready to leave.

So much for wanting to change myself.

Reaching the warehouse, the rat was already strapped on the chair with his mouth duct-taped.

As we neared him, Zack smirked while Sebestian stood by the door watching everything.

Standing in front of him, I could see him shaking in fear as he kept his head down but Nicholas went behind him and pulled his head up with his hair so that I could see his face while he hissed in pain.

"Who's your boss" I questioned, bending down at his level waiting for him an answer but no words came out of his mouth. It looks like he wants some warming up.

Standing up on my full height, I landed a punch on his jaw, making his head tilt at the side as he hissed in pain.

Fisting his hair, I forced him to look at me once again punching him, making blood drip at his now busted lips.

"Hand me the pliers, Zack" I ordered, making his eyes widened in fear.

" N.. no please" he begged but it was already too late. I wanted to take it easy on him but he poked the beast in me.

Taking the pliers, I opened his closed fist to cut his pinky.

Smirking at him, I cut it without thinking twice, making the blood gush out like a waterfall as he screamed at the top of his lungs but I wasn't done yet.

"Where's the alcohol?" I asked, making his eyes widened and his legs shook.

"Here" Zack handed me the bottle as he smirked so sadistically, making the guy scream out in fear begging me not to do it but it was just a piece of music to my ears. His pleads are satisfying for me, it only urges the beast inside me to go further as it reminds me that this is my job, this is where I belong, in the mafia where shedding blood makes you superior amongst the rest..

Pouring the whole bottle at his open skin, his scream filled with agony filled the entire warehouse as Sebestian covered his own ears and Nicholas to laugh while I stood there watching him as he got what he deserved for crossing with me. This is just the warm-up, my friend.

"Now are you willing to tell who your boss is?" I questioned once again, making him nod his head eagerly.

"It.. It's Alex Rossi" he muttered out of breath from all the screaming.

That f*cker wouldn't just change.

"Why?" I asked bending to meet his eyes while he gulped in fear as he tried to look away from me but Nicholas holding him from behind with his didn't let him.

"I won't repeat myself until you want to lose another finger" I stated, making him close his eyes.

" He wanted some evidence against you for the police" he answered, making Sebestian come forward, while I was confused. Why on earth would he do that when he's doing the same shit as I'm doing?

"Why?" I boomed, ready to pounce at him once again when Sebestian held me back.

" He agreed with the police to help them put you behind bars for shipping illegal weapons and drugs" he responded, while I was raging with anger.

All these years, these police have been trying to find a piece of single evidence against me so that they can already put me behind jail but we were smart enough not to leave any trail or clue until they finally gave in but why again all of a sudden.

Why do they always have to come for me when I'm doing nothing but minding my own business?.

"But they didn't succeed because as always we're one step ahead. We got hold of you before you could even open your little mouth" Zach intervened as he took over me, punching and curving the guy's skin with a knife.

"Finish this mess and Sebestian come with me we got a date to plan" I stated, making all three boys to wiggle their eyebrows as me as Nicholas whistled.

"Loverboy is making an effort" He exclaimed, making me shake my head at him as I leave them to finish the task while I go and meet my sweet princess that got me already wrapped around her small finger and how happy she makes me feel, especially with her small kisses.
