Chapter 54

Abram's P.O.V

"You may go now, Mr. Valentino," the officer who was appointed to watch over my every move for a week announced as he let me go, unlocking the cuffs on my already bruised wrists.

Rubbing my wrists, I stopped in my tracks making him look at me confused and scared.

"Now that I'm out, you better not expect me to be letting your *ss go cause let me tell you something, it would be better for you to hide cause I'll f*cking come for you and tie your *ss down and show you what happens if you mess with Abram Valentino. I'll make sure you regret every single second that you kept me inside here," I hissed into his ear, making him shiver in fear while Nicholas grabbed me by my arm, dragging me with him.

" Brother, you just came out, but it looks like you wished to be locked up again" He remarked, as we reached the main office where Sebestian and Zack were already waiting with an enormous smile on their faces.

"Welcome back, man" Zack exclaimed as he hugged me while I couldn't help but smile, but it soon turned into a frown when I remembered that my girl just ran away without even saying a goodbye or gave me a chance to explain myself.

"Yeah, did you find out who's the b*tch who decided to f*ck with me?" I inquired, going straight to the point, making him nod his head proudly.

"The media?" I asked as I signed some documents at the table. "Got it all covered" He responded with confidence.

"And what about Evangeline?," I questioned with my hands starting to sweat.

I hope wherever she is, she's safe and in better condition. I prayed silently waiting for them to answer my question when Sebestian cut in.

"We have to leave now and Evangeline's mother called me a while ago. She wants to talk to you" Sebestian explained with a solemn expression on his face while I just nodded my head in response as we walked towards the car.

He's trying to change the topic. Which means her location is still unknown.

Once we were all settled, I couldn't help but sigh in relief.

Finally, I could search for my princess.

"Here, take your phone and call Melissa," Sebestian stated as he handed my phone while I wondered silently to myself why Evangeline's mom wants to talk with me.

Probably going to blame me for Evangeline running away.

Dialling her number, I listened at the ringing sound as I waited impatiently for her to answer the call with my fingers fidgeting with my shirt.

Damn, why am I getting so nervous and why the hell is taking her so long to answer?

After a few seconds that felt hours, she answered with her voice low and full of sorrow.

"Hello, Abram?" She greeted me while I looked in front of me where the boys were eagerly waiting and listening closely.

"Yes, Melissa. It's me, Abram.. Sebestian said that you wanted to talk" I answered, which she just replied with a small yes as I can tell that she's trying her best not to cry.

"Okay" I added as I waited for her to talk as I could no longer think what to say anymore.

"Can you do me a favour?" She whispered as she sniffed, making me frown, but I agreed, anyway.

"I know that now you're out, you'll find my daughter and I know you won't stop until you get her back again, so when you find her tell her that her father really wants to see her for the last time. I know you're wondering why I'm telling you this and it's because I don't have any contact with her since Adrian also changed his number and please this time, try not to break her heart again. My baby is fragile. She won't be able to handle it twice" she mumbled, while my eyes widened in surprise and in confusion.

Evangeline is with Adrian, but how is it possible? The last time I checked, she doesn't even know him, but how is she staying with him now? And Alex wants to see her for the last time? But why? And what did she mean by trying not to break her heart again? What did I do to break her heart?

"Don't worry, Melissa. I promise that I'll bring her back even if it's the last thing that I would do and I promise, I won't break her heart this time." I answered as I hung up the call, determined to find my girl and bring her back even if it's against her will and this time, I'll make her my queen.

"Nicholas, start working on the last location Evangeline was seen. It's time for her to come home" I stated, making them smile and whistle upon hearing my words.

I'm coming for you, princess, and this time, I won't ever let you out of my sight again because I'm not someone who backs off easily, especially if it involves someone I really adore.
