Chapter 46

Abram's P.O.V

"How long till everything gets sorted?" I questioned Sebestian as I tried to rip off the handcuffs, making my wrist turn redder than it already was but I wasn't giving up.

I'm currently at the police station, in the waiting room with my hands cuffed behind my back while Sebestian and Zack stood in front of me trying their best to calm the beast in me from not blasting the whole place down.

The police somehow got evidence against me and thankfully it was just against me not any of Sebestian, Zack, and Nicholas, which is really relieving for me as taking my brothers down with me is the very last thing that I want.

"It will take at least a week. That's what our lawyer said." Sebestian replied, shrugging his shoulders as I couldn't help but let out a growl.

"I have to get out!" I hissed, making the police that's watching us by the door, squint his eyes suspiciously, making me glare at him which eventually made him bow down his head in fear.

"You can't! They've got strong evidence and a witness. You're lucky that you would be able to get bail when they should be locking you up for years" Sebestian added as I sighed, feeling completely furious.

"Did you get the witness?" I questioned as I couldn't help but wonder how I'm going to torture that rat when I get my hands on him.

"We're working on it. Just be calm for a week and try not to mess it up than it already is" Zack spoke out, patting me on my back trying to assure me that I would be free again.

"If it's only up to me, I completely have no problem even if I have to stay here for a month. But it's Evangeline. I'm supposed to be meeting up with her in a few minutes" I exclaimed as my heart started to beat nervously inside my chest. What would she think of me now?

"Just do me a favor. Let her know that I won't be able to make it tonight. Tell her that I would be back soon" I added, feeling helpless as I couldn't even try to be a perfect man for her like she deserves.

"What are you guys looking at one another, huh? You better let her know cause if you don't. Trust me, I'll kill every single one person here so that I can get f*ck out of here and tell it to her by myself!" I boomed, expecting them to say something but they were just silent as if they're hiding something.

"About Evangeline, she-" Zack spoke but I quickly cut him off.

" About what? Huh? Did something happen to her? What happened?" I inquired, desperately wanting to know what happened.

" From what our man who's there at their house reported to Nicholas. Someone sent pictures of you and Evangeline that were secretly taken each time you meet up with her. He also said that Alex was so furious that he umm... He hit her" Zack explained, making me suck in a breath as I fist my hand and grit my teeth together wanting to cut Alex's hands.

"And he told that Alex told Evangeline that you were just using her to bring down Alex and for revenge and that you're a mafia leader" he added, which made my eyes widened.

" Did he tell her everything? What was the revenge for?" I questioned, making him shake his head no.

" He tried to play the victim. And he succeeded" Sebestian spoke out making me turn my head to him.

"What do you mean by he succeeded?" I questioned dumbly even though I already knew what happened but my head wasn't willing to accept it.

"He succeeded in turning Evangeline against you. He succeeded in washing Evangeline's brain" he exclaimed while I dropped down on the chair with my head bowed down in defeat.

I don't really blame my baby as I know how easily she trusts people which I take myself for instance. She gave me her heart to keep but somehow I always mess things up.

And just when I finally found my love, once again I lost it and just when I finally overcame my nightmare, another one appeared. My worst fear, worst nightmare just happened. The one that I dreaded the most. I lost her.

"And, to add, she ran away," Sebestian added, making my heart drop at the floor as I whipped my head at him so fast.

"Yes, you heard me. She ran away and went to who knows where" he exclaimed, making my head dizzy as I tried to wrap everything inside my head.

I'm f*cked up for real this time.
