He had come to this world for answers but so far he had only got problems! Nevertheless, he continued to believe that there were answers there; somewhere- he didn't have a choice anyway. With sword in hand, he advanced in the direction he sensed life. Through the forest he moved after which he found hills that he ascended and descended up to the time when he was tired again-in a very, the largest he had seen yet. There he decided to rest and it was while he was doing so that he saw something approaching from far away and above. The thing kept bigger and clearer as it came closer; Jim grabbed his sword just in case he needed to use it. He eventually sighed and put down the sword when he saw that it was just horse. On touching down, the horse neighed but Jim was pretty sure he heard it speak!
"I so hope he be the right one..."Jim heard. 'Have I lost my mind?!'-He wondered with good reason too.
"Did you just talk?!" Jim asked the horse.
The horse neighed again and again, Jim heard it speak
"Walking in space like many things good...fun but not easy! Not without the wings!!" he heard.
"Angry dwarves, stupid dreams and talking horses!!...thanks a lot Xlam" Jim thought.
"Talking horses?! Do you be meaning I?!" Jim heard when the horse neighed.
"Of course!! Do you see any other horse here?! " He replied
"My thought say you're better loud when not loud" the neigh sounded to Jim. And in fact, the horse had a point, he could not speak to it but he could communicate through the mind-Jim could think to the horse!
"You do speak, right?!" Jim thought.
"Ye! To horse folk...I do" the horse neighed.
"Great!! I am now a horse...thanks Xlam" Jim shouted with anger.
"I saw you try but heard you not"
"Arghhh! Shut up! Will you?!"
"You need not be rude...not when lost."
"A horse is telling me I am lost!!"
"This horse is Strostall...the name"
"I am James Creed"
"Jamescreed?!"
"No!! James. Creed, two words...just call me Jim"
"Jim?! The one?!" Strostall asked.
"Yeah...that's me...i've been told"
"The Krichnd I sent to you fetch from the valley forsaken"
"Forsaken valley...so that's what it's called I wonder why..."
"At time I was not but me mother was. She me told tale of day old. Tale of a tribe with plenty love for peace but much more for the land. They were Purvians. The valley was Purve called. Disease came, to their land they clang. Water bled through their noses, still they stayed. Disease took them all and since in the valley nothing has lived or walked. "
"That's really so sad a story" Jim thought to Strostall.
"That it is" Strostall replied
"And no one has walked here?!"
"No soul. Only foolish would"
"Wait, did you just call me a fool?! You are here too!"
"I here came to you fetch for the Krichnd."
"What's that 'Krichnd' you keep talking about?!"
"The Krichnd, the born leader...of the land here."
"So...that's like the King...right?!"
"No. Not right. A king be nothing to the Krichnd."
"Whatever...what does he want from me?!"
"That I know not. I can say it's no harm."
"Ok...so are we walking? Or are you walking?"
"Hop on me back" Strost replied
"So you are walking" Jim said as he climbed onto Strost's back.
"Aye...me will walk you there"
"Wowowo!...you said walking not flying!!" Jim complained as Strost began to ascend.
"Me don't fly but walk...through sky" Strost explained
"Well, that's what flying is!" Jim pointed out.
"Nah...I don't fly"
"Did you just say that correctly?!"
"Say which?!"
"Huh. Never mind"
Tell me what you think;)
