For a time Jim had not thought, just wondered. But when he was idle again, worry crept in-would he ever go home again? He knew exactly what he wanted to hear but was not unaware of the possibility that what he did not want to occur could happen. With all these thoughts in his head, Jim moved to the window and looked through. He could see nothing but clouds in the distance. 'Well, of course' he thought 'the castle is on top of the mountain after all!!' Then he looked at the window to find a way of opening it. He failed to find one. As he was still deciding what to do to the useless window, he saw something red approaching him. It all happened too fast and though he could see it, the time was not enough for him to do anything about it. The thing seemed to be aiming for his head. Jim was relieved when he realised it was just a bird but that was only for a very short time before it opened its mouth revealing very sharp teeth. 'I'm so dead!!' Jim thought as sweat trickled down his face. As he resigned himself to his fate, Jim closed his eyes and waited-nothing happened! Not to his face anyway but he heard a loud sound. The creature crashed into the window. 'Well, the window is not useless after all' he concluded. Just about then he saw it, it was blue but even so, he could tell it was the sunset. The most beautiful sunset he had ever seen. When he thought about it, he realised he had never actually taken time to watch sunsets- TV is what he watched. That logically meant that the only sunset he had watched was the most beautiful he had seen and it just happened to be blue; his favourite colour. In the two days he had been trapped in Virrta, Jim had seen and heard a lot but had hardly got any rest. Recalling all the events of the two days piled up all the fatigue he had been suppressing. It all weighed down on him and his eyes began to shut. Suddenly, he felt all energy drain out of his body. With a bed in sight, there wasn't much of a choice to be made; he threw his body on the bed and promptly fell asleep.
"Creed...I mean...Jim are you in there?!" someone knocking at the door shouted. Jim was not sure if he was dreaming or not but he was sure of one thing; it was Breala's voice. With a little struggle he opened his eyes-he couldn't see a thing!! He almost screamed thinking he had gone blind but he saw some light from the window and heaved a sigh of relief. 'Another use for that window'-he thought.
"Yeah...you can come in" he finally spoke.
"Why is it dark...can't you light a candle?!" Breala asked when she got in.
"I was sleeping before you attempted to break the door!!" Jim tried to explain. Breala moved over to the table a top which the candle and lit it.
"I wasn't trying to break the door..." she said.
"I know. I was just exaggerating your act to make it seem ridiculous..." he said "but I clearly failed and ended up ridiculously explaining myself."
"Why would you want me to seem absurd?!" she turned and asked.
"Umm...because..." as he was beginning to explain he noticed something -two things in fact.
"How did you light the candle?!" he asked.
"I used my finger..." she replied and demonstrated by lighting up her index finger.
"Wow...awesome. That's a nice dress by the way." He said referring to the purple dress she was wearing. Save for the colour, this dress was very much similar to the red one.
"Thank you...I was told to give you these..." Breala said as she handed over clothes on a hanger she had been holding in her left hand all along.
"I will wait outside" she said as she left the room. The clothes he was given were; a black blazer, a white long sleeved shirt and a pair of blue jeans.
