We just got back to my house after dropping Daniel off and i'm in my bed right now thinking
I let Zach take a shower, so while he's there i'm alone
he took my phone with him so i don't text jonah and i'm happy he did
i really would text him if i had it
as i'm laying in bed thinking i feel a weight lifted off my shoulders
i know we just broke up and i shouldn't be 100 percent okay right now but i'm just so relieved that i don't have to worry about him being the one
i would feel so much more hurt if he broke up with me and so i'm lucky i was the one who did it
while i think some more my door opens and Zach comes in the room
"hey" he says
i look over and he's standing with just a towel on
i subconsciously bite my lip as i stare at him getting dressed but i quickly look away before he catches me
he puts pants on and gets into bed with me
"i blocked and removed... the number from your phone"
"thank you you're the best" i smile and hug him and he smiles too
"so how are you feeling?" he asks
"i'm sad obviously but also i just feel so relieved that i don't have to worry about him anymore"
"good you deserve to not have to worry"
"do you think i'll find someone?" i ask
"of course you will, you're stunning. any boy with eyes could see that"
"i still can't believe i did it, i finally broke up with him"
"i'm so proud of you Kylie"
"thank you" i smile and look up at him
i see him look at my lips and i look at his too
i know i shouldn't kiss him, i just broke up with someone i can't have someone new already but then again I feel like i need to
"can i kiss you?" he whispers and i nod leaning in
our lips meet and we begin to kiss
my sadness and worry about Jonah trying to get back at me all melt away as he deepens the kiss
i smile into it and we pull apart
"wow" he whispers
"i know. that was much better than last time" i say making him laugh
"last time was just awkward"
"true" we laugh and i yawn
"that was an amazing end to an interesting night but i'm so tired can we go to sleep?" i ask and he nods
"of course goodnight"
"goodnight Zach"
