it's the next day at school and i am at my locker taking out my books
as i'm taking out my math book i feel arms wrap around my waist
knowing it's Jonah I move them off of me
i roll my eyes and continue to get my books
"hey don't be mad at me" Jonah says
"you ditched something important to me to smoke with your friends"
"i didn't know it was that special to you. i mean it's just a math competition"
"to you. to me it's the most important competition ever. i even won the captain spot on the team"
"oh wow congrats"
"whatever just leave me alone"

he hugs me tightly and i try to escape but i can't

"i'm not going to accept"
"okay then i'm not going to let go"

"nope. how about you come over tonight and i'll apologize"
"why tonight"
"well when you calculate the probability of us having sex you get a 25 percent at school but a 100% at my house"
"that's not how probability or percentages work"
"and of course you knew that. my smart girl but still come over tonight and i'll make everything up to you"
"so when you want me you expect me just to show up but when i need you somewhere you can't come"

"yay" he FINALLY lets go of me and kisses my forehead

i roll my eyes and he leaves

schools over and i had a really good day. i got 100s on all of my quizzes
but now my day is going to be ruined
i'm still upset with Jonah and i don't want sex as an apology i want words or dinner or ice cream or anything but sex
from school i drive over to Jonah's house
i hear him move some things around before answering the door
"hey you came"
"yeah well when i tell people i'm going to be somewhere i go unlike some people i know and well date"
