Cynthia's eyelids felt heavy when she opened her eyes. Though her eyes were open she couldn't think of why. Her heart was pounding, and her mind was completely empty. It was if a hypodermic of adrenaline had been emptied into her soul. She tried to move, but couldn't.

She jerked upright, panicked, but her wrists refused to move. Something sharp and cold dug into her skin. She looked down and saw that there were handcuffs wrapped around her wrists. Cold, heavy, silver handcuffs.

She looked around. She was completely alone in a strange room. A fluorescent light flickered above her as four blank walls screamed out in pain. There was something disturbing about the concrete box she was in. It looked as if it had been engineered with absolute precision. The corners were sharp and straight, and no windows were present at all. A single door was in front of her and nothing else. She then realized that this was a prison room.

Someone had designed this room, and it wasn't made for normal people.

She tried activating her blood powers to help her escape the handcuffs but nothing happened. She tried again and again. She realized that she was unable to use her powers in such a weird place. She had no idea where she was or where anyone else was either.

Surrounded by four white walls, there was nothing else to do but stare at them. She looked at the door in front of her. The door was solid metal. The surface was flat and shiny like the outside of a stainless steel refrigerator. There was no handle, no lock, no hinges, nothing to get a grip on. She had no idea what laid behind that door.

"Haisley..." she spoke softly, "I promise I'm going to find you..."

She struggled to stand up without using her hands but was able to get on both feet. She eyed the door, fixing her stance. She wasn't sure how to open it. She couldn't use her powers to seep blood underneath of the door to lift it up. The handcuffs wouldn't come off, so Cynthia knew what she'd have to do to put them to use.

Cynthia fixed her attention on the door and took a few steps back. She took in a deep breath. She ran towards the door and slammed her wrists hard against it. The handcuffs didn't budge and neither did the door. Her arms ached. No matter how she moved them, they were impossibly numb. Someone could cut them off and she wouldn't feel a thing. She wasn't sure what to do. She stood on her tiptoes, relieving the pressure on her arms from the metal cuffs. She jerked back. If only they would break. She couldn't stand the small mute space in the cell.

Her eyes glowed. She could feel her power activating and red ice began to form around the door. The small crystals formed into larger ones. Large sharp icicles shot up through the ground piercing the door and slashing it's metal into pieces. She flung her arms up and the handcuffs blocked her eyes from the flinging shards of ice. The metal pieces from the door laid scattered throughout the room, now was Cynthia's time to escape.

She was confused as to why her ice powers were working, but not her blood ones. She was able to use her ice powers to break the metal door down. She tried using her blood powers again, testing to see if they'd work this time but they didn't. She tip toed over the pieces of metal and walked over towards the opening where the door had once been. She peaked out of the door and saw an enormous hallway.

Cynthia moved nothing but her eyes, her mind was racing while every muscle stayed rock still. The prison hallway had metal doors on each of it's sides. The same metal door design that she had just destroyed. The hallway went on for miles as for what Cynthia could see. Each of the doors was identical to the one beside it. There was no sound, no signals, and no sign of anyone. She didn't know what laid behind the doors. The closets door was one across the hallway from her.

"Where is this place..." she questioned quietly. There were no windows in the hallway, and the lights were very dim. "Juliet and Danielle have to be in one of these rooms..." she thought. Cynthia didn't know which one, but she was determined to find them along with Haisley.
