Cynthia nodded in acknowledgement to Danielle's request and followed her grueling pace without complaint. Cynthia ran as fast as she could outside.

The fog from the early morning had disappeared outside. The forest trees were high and swayed gently in the mid-day breeze. The sky was one of those baby-blue skies with clouds like puffs of radiant joy, ready to disperse into the wind. Cynthia's eyes met the ground where Adeline and Juliet were standing. Juliet and Adeline were standing about thirty feet from one another, each in a battle stance.

The area upon the forest floor around them looked burnt and destroyed. Some of the trees were knocked down and were covered in small, descending green flames. Giant black lightening strikes were clearly present on the trees which had been toppled over by Juliet.

The irises of Adeline's charcoal grey eyes were seeping through the vivid green color of her eye whites. Her eyes were flashing green and she was hurling fire at Juliet. Juliet's eyes were vivid blue, leaving the royal blue irises in them. Streaks of blue lightening crashed through the sky and around Adeline. The sky lit up with green and blue colors.

Adeline dodged the lightening and Juliet got more irritated. Adeline's movements were quick and precise. Smoldering fire licked the bottom of the grass and wounded itself towards Juliet. Juliet jumped up and lightening shot out of her foot causing her to jump even higher. The green fire crashed underneath of her, barely touching the bottom of her shoes. The fire destroyed everything in its path, choking clouds of noxious smoke erupted from the aftermath. It was out of control, ash floated to the ground like great dirty flakes of snow, showering onto everything, sprinkling onto the ground.

A smirk came across Adeline's face and her eyes grew even brighter. Her eyes were almost completely green now, and she lifted her hands up high above her head. A skeletal hand shot out of the ground and grabbed Juliet's leg. Multiple hands struck out of the ground and began clawing their way up through the earth.

Juliet shrieked. "Yo! What the hell are those man?! Let go!" She struck the hand grasping her with a hard punch and it toppled to the ground in a pile of bones.

Multiple other skeletons crawled out of the forest ground, their bones clinking together and jaws slack. The forces holding the bones together were unknown and they moved just as a human would. Adeline smirked and simply pointed at Juliet. The skeletons rushed forwards.

"Shit shit SHIT" yelled Juliet. She dodged and rolled away from the skeletal onslaught, striking lightning at each one when she could. Jumping up a tree with the assistance of her lightning, Juliet pouted.

"Hey! That's not fair! You can't just send them to fight for you!" Yelled Juliet from the tree.

"All's fair in love and war." taunted Adeline, "But fine. Have it your way." Lowering her hands, the skeletons disassembled and sank back into the ground with disappointed cracking noises. With Adeline briefly distracted, Juliet jumped down and struck a huge bolt of lightning at her.

"Fuck!" Yelled Adeline as she barely managed to jump out of the way. Part of the bolt struck her in the leg and she stumbled to the ground.

"Ha!" said Juliet triumphantly, "Never let your guard down."

Adeline pushed herself back up and shifted her weight off of her injured leg. She gritted her teeth in pain and glared at Juliet with more than just anger in her bright green eyes. "You little shit.." she scathingly mumbled.

Her green eyes flashed again and she spoke words not of this world. She lurched back as if something had struck her in the chest. Then, slowly looked up at Juliet with a crooked grin. "You're soooo fucked now." she snickered. With incredible speed, Adeline sprinted forward and punched Juliet square in the face.
