Cynthia looked down at her hands. The handcuffs were completely frozen and with a hard shake they fell into brittle pieces. She held her bare hands out in front of her. They were the hands of a cold blooded murderer.

Crimson fell to his knees by the wall when Adriano's dead corpses were the only things left for him to cherish. He cried as if his brain was being shredded from the inside. Emotional pain flowed out of his every pore. From his mouth came a cry from so raw that even Cynthia's eyes were suddenly wet with tears. She didn't mean for any of this to happen. Her ice powers were out of control and she wasn't sure why.

Crimson stood up and grabbed onto a large lever so violently, and pulled it down. "Curse you!" he yelled. "I hope you rot in hell!" He over ran to the metal door across the room and frantically put his palm on its surface begging for it to open any faster. Tears were soaked into his pasty skin.

Cynthia looked down at the blonde girl beside her. The girl suddenly let her body release in the uncomfortable position it was in, and was able to move again. The lever Crimson pulled must have shut off a power source, the platform wasn't affecting them anymore and the lights began to flicker.

The blonde girl looked at Cynthia with bright emerald green eyes. She was wearing a purple cheer leading uniform, which looked dirty and worn out. Cynthia wasn't sure how long the girl had been kept here, or why no one had come to look for her.

"That was incredible!" said the girl, "How did you do that if the handcuffs were supposed to prevent you from using your powers?"

"I don't know..." said Cynthia. "I couldn't use my blood powers but I was able to use my ice powers." She thought. Her eyes wondered up at the lights and noticed they were flickering even more harshly. "We have to get out of here." she said. "I feel like something bad is going to happen to this place, Crimson pulled a lever and I think it knocked out the power source."

"Okay," said the blonde girl. "Are you hurt?"

"No I'm okay," said Cynthia. Cynthia was right about the girl being a healer, otherwise the girl wouldn't be so concerned for her health. The girl looked at Cynthia's wrists, they were red from the handcuffs.

"Let me see your wrists." she said.

Cynthia held out her arms, not sure what to expect from the girl. The girl closed her eyes and put her hands around Cynthia's wrists. Cynthia winced in pain as the girl wrapped her fingers gently around her wrists. When she did this, Cynthia felt a cooling sensation. With ease Cynthia looked down and the girl when released her hands from Cynthia's wrists. Cynthia's wrists were back to normal, no signs of any redness or marks.

"Thank you..." said Cynthia. She wasn't sure who this girl was but appreciated what she had done. The blonde girl reopened her eyes, "Okay let's get out of here." she said. She had a bubbly tone in her voice, even for being in such a stressful setting.

"I have to find my sister." said Cynthia.

The blonde girl's eyes widened. "Are you talking about the little girl with the strawberry blonde hair?"

"Yes!" said Cynthia, "That's her, is she here? Is she okay? Do you know where she is?"

"When that charming silver haired boy, Crimson, took me here... I think I remember waking up beside her." said the girl. "She was scared, and she was crying a lot." The girl put her hand up to her chin in deep thought. "I'm not sure where they took her but they thought she was the red host, and after realizing that she couldn't withstand the cutting they realized they were wrong."

"Cutting?" asked Cynthia. "What do you mean?"

"The big dude threatened her with a knife to see what her reaction power was. He also cut her hand off." she said. "But then once they left the room I was able to heal her hand," she paused. "Don't worry" She noticed Cynthia's agitated expression.
