It was the day of graduation. Yibo got up early as usual to prepare for the ceremony. It would be his last formal day to attend the university. His father's secretary came to his apartment in the morning. He told him his father wished him well but could not attend. Yibo was glad that his father would not attend the ceremony. He was too conspicuous and attracted way too much attention and Yibo did not like that one bit. He only knew his father's existence after his mother passed on. Since then, he was just a man that had the status of his 'legal guardian'. He was always working around the world was seldom home. He did not have time to be the warm doting father but he was quite generous financially since he had alot of money to spare.
The secretary was polite but cold. He handed Yibo a graduation 'gift' that was a small box. "Open it." he said to Yibo. It was a small car key. The secretary then accompanied Yibo to the garage downstairs to a brand new sports car. Yibo knew his father had such tendencies but he always preferred to work and earn his own money rather than receiving allowance from a man he barely knew.
He handed to small box back to the secretary who was smiling proudly. He was taken by surpirse,"Was the gift not to your liking young master?" "I can't accept this." Yibo said.
The secretary face slightly paled. "Please young master, just accept it. I'd get into trouble if I return with the car."
After arguing in circles. Yibo finally relented as he felt sorry for the guy. The secretary was his father's long time personal assistant. He had been the one who always communicated with Yibo. After making sure Yibo accepted the gift, the secretary finally left.
"Whooaaa , a sports carrr!!! if you're so reluctant to receive this why not give it to me!" Zoey suddenly pop out of nowhere giving Yibo an almost heart attack.
"Gosh why'd you appear all of a sudden? Were you spying on us the entire time?" Yibo said.
"I've been here all these time but you're just too engrossed in the sports car and didn't notice."
"I was not."
"You were."
"Was not"
Zoey rolled her eyes. "So are you driving this thing to school?"
"Naah I'm taking the bus."
"Seriously? Its graduation day. You can't take the bus to school!"
"The parking would be crowded and I don't really feel like driving my bike in these outfits."

On the day of the graduation, University High was bustling with people. The students had their families, relatives and close friends attending their ceremony. Everyone who came were ushered into the large auditorium in the school. There were banners and sighns everywhere to point them to the right direction, additionaly, volunteers were placed at strategic spots in the school grounds to guide visitors to navigate their way around the vast University complex. There were even golf cars scattered around to take visitors who could not get a parking close enough to the auditorium.
All of the teachers and staff members have been kept busy to prepare for this day. The most important day of the school calendar. It was when the university was open to the public and many outsiders would come in and there would be countless picture taking and media exposure. Thus the school board worked really hard to ensure the event was successful.
The auditorium stood as a building separate from the main campus. It was a grand classic colonial architecture that housed the auditorium and seat about 2000 people. The building also housed a few smaller theaters, function room and studios for use. Outside the building were large areas of open fields and there were white tents covering the space. There were food stalls, photo booths, vendors selling graduation merchandizes, school alumni booth, graduation souvenirs, and even the career guidance department set up a booth there.
