A Warriors Warrior (Book 3 In Equaliser Series)

Prologue

Alexa chased the three rouges in front of her in her wolf form letting out growls of rage as she thought back to why she was chasing them. They had intruded in her camp while she was finishing a call with her sister who had told her she was an auntie. They had thought she was a defenceless female and tried to take advantage of her but she was not having any of it. She fought back, she had already killed the two other wolves that were with the three in front of her. When they had seen she was capable of killing they started running. 

Shaking her wolfs head to focus on the task at hand Alexa pushed her legs faster starting to close the gap between her and the rouges. She was so engrossed in the chase she barely registered the crackle of the pack boarder over her body. Though once inside the border she caught up with the rouges and growled low in her throat before jumping on the closest wolf and snapping its neck. 

The next wolf also died quickly with a snap to the neck the last wolf however was the leader of the small band and wouldn't go down without a fight. Alexa pounced and they were a rolling ball of red and grey fur as the tussled with each other. Alexa got the upper hand after a few seconds of struggle and stood over the rouge with her teeth bared before ripping out his throat but not before he had managed to scratch her face. 

After Alexa regained her senses she looked around the area and realised she was being watched by pack wolves. In her anger, she had not registered that she had entered into another pack's lands. Laying down she decided to see what they would do, she didn't know why but her instincts told her she would find something here. 

"Red Rouge you will follow us to the dungeon If you do not comply you will be killed," Said a male in human form before he shifted into his dark blonde wolf and walked over cautiously and stood behind Alexa. 

Alexa nodded her head and started walking with the blonde wolf while three others were watching her for any ill intent. Alexa huffed at their conclusion that she was a rouge but didn't put up a fight. She could use a night or two indoors anyway. As they got to the dungeons the lead Alexa to a cell that had a bed and a bucket and seemed to be in the nicest condition thought there were scratches on the wall.

"The alpha will be back tomorrow, he will decide what to do with you until then behave," Said the dark blonde male in his human form as he shut the door to her cell. 

Alexa's heart beat faster at the mention of the alpha but it wasn't fear, it was excitement. And she was curious about what it meant. Growling at the beta for ordering her around she snapped her jaws in his direction before flopping down on the floor and waiting for the mysterious alpha.
