Alexa giggled as her big strong mate seemed afraid to hold their daughter. He had been sitting by her bedside ever since she had given birth. Alexa could see his fingers curling as he looked at the sleeping face of their daughter.
"Is the big bad alpha afraid of a baby" Alexa teased as she handed Gabriel their daughter.
"No, I'm not" Gabriel replied though his hands shook as he took her from Alexa.
Alexa felt an indescribable love as she looked at them. They were her word and she would protect them with all she was worth. Her pregnancy had presented them both with challenges but it was worth it for the little angel that was with them now.
"What do you want to name her Alexa," Gabriel asked as his daughter blinked up at him her chocolate eyes bright and innocent.
"I think we should name her Abigail Black," Alexa said having settled on that name after searching for the last part of her pregnancy."
"It's perfect for her" Gabriel agreed, placing a kiss to his daughter's forehead the red tuft of her hair tickling his nose. Gabriel then leaned over and placed a kiss on Alexa's forehead.
"I love you Gabe" Alexa spoke as a content sigh left her lips at having gotten her happily ever after.
"I love you to Alexa, forever and always" Gabriel replied his wolf howling in agreement as his heart swelled with love.
