Thirst for thrill becomes dominant in one's teen years or whenever one is granted health and careless nature. This desire is bound to perturb you at least once in your life. Nature uses it as a tool to shove someone to adulthood. When this thirst reaches its peak, it generates the impulse to do something reckless to satisfy it; to quench it and this is often the turning point in life. It embraces extremism near its end; one final attempt at survival, just like a candle's flame.
If you've ever witnessed a burning candle, you might have noticed that just when it's about to blow out, its flame gets stronger. This is a universal habit. Anything, before ceasing to exist strives its best to overpower death. But everything is bound to end one day and be at peace, for the world is a temporary place.
Now the story that I'm about to narrate is of a boy, a 19-year-old boy who has every earthly possession and luxury one could dream of, yet he feels hollow and empty inside. He constantly feels as if something's missing; a persistent ringing in his head that always keeps him on edge. To fill this void, he has left no stone unturned. He's a rebel, he knows it and he's proud.
He is- what a shallow person would call- a spoiled brat, raised by his single and utterly successful father. He lost his mother at the age of 9 and has been unknown to the gentler side of parents. Though I'm not saying his father was harsh on him, a father can't give motherly love, now can he?
Being the offspring of two horribly attractive people, he was second to none when it came to looks. Towering over a good 5 ft 11 inches with a built figure, a chiseled jaw, impeccable features; a straight nose, lips with a defined cupid's bow & luminous deep brown eyes, he could be the next face of Korean beauty.
The name of this pampered, yet pitiful character is Choi Yeonjun, chaebol to Choi Enterprises. Unfortunately, he isn't what his father wants in his successor & so he has done everything in his power to make him worthy of that title but it hasn't been of many advantages as he grew more rebellious day by day.

"Choi Yeonjun," the principal looked at him with a stern expression, "I'm transferring you to BlackWoods High. That's the last place on this planet that can mend your ways."
Yeonjun was leaning back on his chair, his right leg crossed over his left. He looked seemingly unbothered by everything.
"I don't think I'm the one being punished here," he slanted forward, bending over the principal's desk as he looked him in the eye, "it's BlackWoods High that's being punished," he loud-whispered as if threatening the principal.
The principal kept eye contact with the insolent pupil and slightly lifted his brow to tell him off. It was gonna be a waste of time if they both kept on playing 'who blinks first', so Yeonjun stood up abruptly, almost startling the principal, and jolted out of the office.
The assistant sitting at her counter jerked off of her seat as Yeonjun went past her like a howling wind. The students and teachers alike stood staring as he made his way out of the building. He was just out the front gate when a brunet approached him.
"Yeonjun, uh, what did he say in there?" he fidgeted with his hands as he nervously spoke.
"Don't worry, I didn't snitch on any of you," He put his hands on his hips as he sighed, "though, you shouldn't get involved in any shenanigans if you're scared of getting caught."
"I'm- I'm not scared, uh, not at all."
"Yeah, right," Yeonjun scoffed as he head out, "see you never, then."
Yeonjun got into his car and lit a cigarette.
"BlackWoods, huh?" he sneered.
He turned the key and the racing vehicle started with a vroom. As he turned the car around, the tires screeched and he bolted to his house.
The big iron gates slid to the sides as Yeonjun parked his car inside the mansion. This mansion was spread over a great wide area with a well-tended garden. The building was a vision of modern architecture. He got inside the living room where his father was sitting in front of the TV.
"Another milestone crossed by the company." He took a sip of his beer as the newscaster on the channel announced Choi Enterprises to have the most international branches than anyone in Eastern Asia.
Yeonjun, without paying any attention to anything, went up to his room & was greeted by, what could have been the most unpleasant at that moment, BlackWoods' uniform. Though it was a very appealing outfit with the best color scheme, Yeonjun hated it. He picked it up and thrust it into the closet before heading to the bathroom to take a bath.
He put on a nice R&B upbeat record by his favorite artist and got inside the bathtub. He closed his eyes and the entire day reflected in front of his eyes. He & his friends had burnt the term exam papers last night and were, unfortunately, caught on camera. His friends had been suspended for a month but he was expelled and transferred because it hadn't been the first time he had done something horrendous. It was his third transfer this year, all due to his thirst for thrill.
"BlackWoods..." Yeonjun mumbled as he put his back against the tub and sighed.
This BlackWoods High was one of Korea's highest-ranking schools known for their tough rules and regulations. 'School Of Winners' they called it as many of the students had won international contests and had brought fame and recognition to the country. Black Woods had a tough competition with Youth Gate, their biggest rival and lamentably, Youth Gate had beaten Black Woods in the last 'National Brain Power Contest'. Black Woods had a prominent student council and the current president of this council was a national intelligence celebrity, of course, second to Youth Gate's president.
