The girl slowly moved in front of Yeonjun and moved her hand towards him.

"ID card." She said as she gestured with her fingers

Yeonjun quickly fidgeted through his bag, pulled his ID out, and gave it to her. She read the contents of the cards, carefully examining it. Tension ran through his veins like the fear you experience in 3rd grade when the teacher tells you to read the chapter out loud in front of the whole class.

"Choi Daniel," She read out his English name aloud.

"Why do I not know you?" Her voice resonated throughout the room and struck Yeonjun in the spine.

"I-I- did-" He tried to tell her about yesterday but the burgundy boy cut in and narrated the incident to the girl.

"He came to see you but you were in Mrs. Lee's office."

She looked at him and moved her head up and down in realization; the first normal gesture from her and gave Yeonjun his ID back. She checked her wristwatch and calculated something in her mind.

"There's still an hour and a half before school starts." She thought.

"Soobin-ssi, give him a flashlight," She gestured to the burgundy boy.

"He'll patrol with us."

Soobin gave him a flashlight from the cupboard behind Yeonjun and the girl moved out of the room, the boys followed her.

I didn't agree with this.

But it's not like he could say no, he couldn't. The girl looked like she would bite him off if he did.

Yeonjun kept glancing at the boy while they roamed around the empty hallways, looking for something he didn't know. Soobin noticed that Yeonjun had been looking at him but he didn't pay any heed to it for a long time but now it had gotten too awkward, so he addressed him.

"Am I that handsome?" He asked Yeonjun looking at him through the corner of eyes.

"Huh?" Yeonjun was startled that he had noticed but it wasn't like he was trying to hide it anyway.

The girl snickered as she walked in front of them, then she turned around and mouthed 'narcist' to Soobin. Soobin giggled as he looked at the ground, his cheeks slightly red and his dimples deepening as his embarrassment grew. Yeonjun felt like a third-wheel there and mentally puked.

"Tch, tch," Yeonjun muttered under his breath.

"Looks like he's taken." He grimaced.

The trio patrolled around the school for the next 50 minutes and slowly, the school started getting crowded by students. The girl sent Soobin off and took Yeonjun to her office.

Yeonjun walked behind her as she led him to her office. She opened the door and gestured Yeonjun to sit down on the chair in front of the desk and she sat behind it. She turned on her laptop and typed something in it, then she looked at Yeonjun.

"Okay..." She raised her head from the screen.

"Yeonjun, tell me about yourself."

"Like what?" He raised his brow, the pleasant authoritative personalities seemed obnoxious to him.

"Let's start from the beginning, I'm Kim Eun-Bi," She moved her hand forward and shook it with Yeonjun's.

"I've been the President of BlackWoods student council for two years in a row. It's nice to meet you, you'll find a good friend in me."

"I'm Choi Yeonjun, I'm new here. Please take good care of me!" He slightly bowed his head. He had decided to go along cuz being on the president's good side would eventually benefit him.

"That's more like it." She clapped her hands like a little child, enthusiastically-quite opposite to her first impression. Yeonjun was perplexed by that, so he decided to ask her about it.

"Earlier," He said,

"You seemed quite cold and distant. Why the sudden change of behavior?" Trying to sound as little nosy as he could.

"You were a suspect then, now you're a regular student." She seamlessly answered.

"Suspect of what?" How big of a situation could a school have?

"Being YouthGate's spy and trying to find out our preparations for the annual fest." She straight-forwardly told again; no hesitance.

"You'll find out the beef between BW and YG soon enough." She got up from her seat and moved over the wooden shelves across the room. Looking at the books within it, she put her index finger on the titles, moved her hand horizontally right and took out a booklet.

"I would've gone around the school with you myself," She handed him the booklet and called someone on her phone. The booklet was basically a map of the campus and it had an introduction to the few courses the school offered.

"But I have a lot to do, so I'll get another member to do that."

The person picked up.

"Hey, Irene. Come to my office."

Irene came to her office and showed Yeonjun around the school. Afterward, she helped Yeonjun pick a course and gave him the work he had missed. Yeonjun picked Business Management and related branches, basically because his father had told him to do that. He didn't have a dream anyway.

He was transferred to '4-B'. The sections only shared homeroom teachers and after meeting with them, they would all go to their respective classes and lectures. Yeonjun got his schedule from his homeroom teacher, Ms. Baek who seemed to be fresh out of university and probably, the entire male staffroom's crush. She had really silky, chestnut-colored hair that reached just above her hips. But BW's students preferred Mrs. You over Ms. Baek-an elderly woman with a small stature-because they understood her better. Irene told Yeonjun that.
