CHAPTER 5

Ella.

My head, why does it hurt so much? Why am I so hot? The ringing in my ears- ow!

"She's already dead!"

"Who killed her!"

"E-Ella's dead?"

"Oh no,"

I felt my body being taken.

"Give her back!"

"No I won't let you just throw her body away!"

"I'll find a way to reverse this Princess Ella, I promise."

"They killed Ella!"

"They what!"

"She's alive you're idiots!" I moved my head, feeling uncomfortable, I couldn't open my eyes, I'm too tired.

I woke up to the sound of voices, "what if we cut her open-" I wanted to move, please don't do that. "Hear me out! Lets cut her open and beat up the sick inside her!"

"We're doomed." "No! Not Ella!"

"Let's think logically, Princess, can you speak?"

I forced my eyes open, I tried, but all that came out were coughs.

"She's not responsive."

"No! She coughed! That's a response!"

"I meant she can't speak."

"Since I don't have any magic! If I did I could probably heal Ella!" The voice sounded like, Noi.

Why do they sound so worried? It's only a fever.

I woke up, my head still hurt, and I don't feel fully recovered, but I feel stronger.

Pierce, Leif, Noi, and Asch were by my side, "What happened to you?"Peirce asked, I coughed.

"I got overheated in your bathtub, so I ended up caching a fever."

"Why didn't you recover after one sunset?" Leif questioned, I let out a weak laugh.

"Humans take a little longer to recover, silly." I gave him a smile. "W-Wait u-uh, did you guys d-dress me?" I just noticed my new clothes, if they dressed me then- oh god.

"Oh I did! Uh... with miss Oats help of course." Noi beamed, I gave him an awkward smile.

"I have actual pajamas you know," he beamed at me, "I just grabbed what I thought looked nice~!" I giggled, nodding.

"Have you guys been taking care of me?" I looked at all of them, tilting my head.

"Kill and take care of." Leif responded,

"Yes." Pierce also responded.

"Oh- well thank you, this means a lot." I said quietly, Asch raised an eyebrow.

"Don't flatter yourself human, you know why we need you so don't-" I started coughing, ugh being sick sucks. "Are you alright?!" Asch exclaimed, looking at me with complete worry.

He looked at the boys, "What? I need her to not die yet!" They looked like they still didn't believe him.

I jumped a little, "Yeah, I'm fine, I just need a couple of days to rest. As long as you guys keep taking care of me... I still need.. rest." I passed out, the last words I heard were.

"Ella!"

"What happened?"

Lets just say, Ava came back early and thought that they were trying to kill me. She helped them help me get back to normal, and the boys told me that if I leave their side then they'll find me.

"I just wanted to go in the hot tub." I looked at them, they seemed more irritated that I wasn't getting the point.

"You know what? Since you like to get yourself into trouble all the time, I order you to not leave our sight!" Asch lectured me, "Do you understand prisoner?" I jumped back, accidentally bumping into Pierce's chest.

"I- uh," Peirce seemed like he wasn't going to do anything, "are you for this too?" I glanced up at him, he only stared down at me, "Yes," simple, but meaningful.

"Okay, but why? I'm an adult I can take care of myself." I crossed my arms and pouted, looking at Ava, "You agree too?" She nods,

"You're too naive, Ella." She shook her head, I don't understand why they have to treat me like a child. I'm not a child.

"Oh and, don't even thinking of trying to excape from us, we'll find you." Leif commented, throwing his knife in the air.

Jesus! You know what? Fine! Two can play at this game! I'll prove I'm not a fricking child!
