Ella.
It's been a few days since the picnic fiasco, in fact, fall is coming around.
"Ella, wake up!" Ava's voice bounced around inside my head, causing me to stir in my endless rest.
I groaned, opening my eye half way, "What is it..?" I mumbled, staying in my comfortable position.
"Get up, today we're gonna teach the boys some more about our amazing world, and I'm not doing it alone." She grumbled sarcastically, I watched as she crossed both her arms and huffed.
I let out a yawn, "Okay, I'll get dressed." I dragged a half asleep arm to tear the warm blankets off of my body, then pushing myself into a standing position on the floor.
I walked over to the dresser and put on a pair of leggings and a baggy shirt, there's no need to look fancy for walking around in my own house.
I turned back around to look at Ava, changing in the same room with her doesn't make me feel uncomfortable, it's pretty normal.
"Okay, I'm gonna go to the restroom and freshen up." I spoke to her, making my way to the bathroom, when I got there I did the normal, brushing my hair and teeth, putting on deodorant and then perfume.
I proceeded to walk out of the bathroom, "Let's go, I'm sure they're already out there waiting." She commented with mocked enthusiasm.
I looked at her, "Don't you like having them around, I think it's fun..." I trailed off my words as we walked out of the room and into the living room.
A very unpleasant smell smacked me in the face, i scrunched up my nose and looked around the apartment for a plausible source of such a disturbing odor.
Then my eyes landed on the five, bearded, sweaty, and stinky Daemos standing in Ava and I's kitchen.
"Is that smell coming from you guys?" Ava asked, clear discomfort was written all over her face as the Daemos turned around to look at us.
My eyes widened when they all turned around.
"Smell..?" Leif asked, obviously not aware of the odor.
"Y-you guys kind of s-smell." I stuttered, I watched as Asch scoffed.
"That's because Rhys told us that we need to stop using our magic wastefully." He rolled his eyes, side eyeing Rhys, who was minding his own business.
"Of course, we can't waste our magic on needless things, we need to conserve it to ensure our way back," he explained, his glasses glinting in the sun.
"Well you guys need baths and shaves before we teach you anything," Ava scrunched her nose, the boys all gave her a confused look.
"Bath..?" Noi pondered, looking over to me as if asking for an answer.
"You know, how you clean yourselves and remove the smell and hair from you bodies?" Ava explained, looking at the boys with a 'duh' expression,
"We use our magic for everything, even cleaning ourselves is done with magic," Leif deadpanned, his voice was unconcerned.
"Well it's bath time." I nodded to myself, I looked up at the boys and grinned, "To the bathroom~!" I then marched off into the battle field.
-
"You don't know how to take baths..?" I asked, looking at Asch with confusion.
"I already told you that we used magic for all of that, pay attention prisoner!" He puffed out his cheeks and glared at me.
"Then how are you gonna take a bath..?" My mind was completely blank, if they had no experience...
"Help me take a bath," His voice was commanding, I blushed,
"I-uh- wait!" Asch started taking off his clothes, I quickly turned around to not see anything I didn't want to see.
"I'm in the water." He called, I turned around and saw him trying to grip at the bubbles in the bath.
I laughed, walking over to the water to grab bubbles, when I did I put them on Asch's chin.
"You look like Santa, haha!" I then proceeded to teach him how to use the shampoo.
"And whatever you do, don't let the soap get into your eyes." This was the last thing I told him before turning around to leave.
I heard a growl, "PRISONER! WHY ARE THE BUBBLES ATTACKING ME?!" I turned around and saw Asch with soap in his eyes, I ran over and threw water into it to calm down the burning.
"Be more careful okay? Soap burns." I looked at him, he just rolled his eyes, his left one red, a faded blush sat on his face, I smiled.
Then I left the bathroom.
-
"Okay Noi, ready?" I heard the water splashing around and took it as a yes.
I turned around, watching as Noi sank his head half way under the water, to where I could only see his eyes and above.
I laughed, "Okay, so basically, you just take the shampoo and rub it into your hair, like this." I demonstrated it, and he let out a soft sigh.
"Noi? You like it when people play with your hair?" I tilted my head as I reached for some water to rinse out the soap.
"Well it's a new discovery!" He giggled, flushing pink.
I smiled, "Okay, I'll keep it in mind." After explaining everything I left the bathroom.
-
"Rhys, how do you already know..?" I glanced over at Rhys who was putting shampoo into his hair.
"It's a simple concept, in fact, I am quite enjoying this." He said as a matter of factly, I nodded,
"Well if you need me I'll be right outside okay?" I watched as he nodded, letting out a hum, i then turned around and left.
-
"So how do you guys feel?" Ava looked at all of them, smiling at our job well done with shaving and washing.
"Did you like it?" I asked,
"Yes, I feel refreshed." Rhys commentated, Ava laughed,
"Of course you feel refreshed, you're clean!" I smiled and nodded at her logic.
"It was pretty fun!" Leif smirked, I looked at Ava shaking her head,
"You only liked it because you played with bath toys while you wear in the tub." She said with disappointment, I laughed.
"Yeah well it was fun." He shot back, sticking his tongue out jokingly.
"I liked it because Princess Ella helped me~!" Noi exclaimed, I turned red.
"Y-yeah, thanks Noi." I turned my head to the side with embarrassment.
Today was a good day, they did learn something.
