Y/N
What's this weird pressure on my head?
Without opening my eyes, I reached a hand up to grab onto my forehead, then realizing that there's a hand on it.
"Hello? How dare you die in my presence?!" An obnoxiously loud voice called,
I groaned, "What do you mean..?" I whispered, lightly smacking the strangers hand off my head, "What are you doing?" I asked him, backing away suspiciously.
"What am I doing? What were you doing?" He snarled, I let out a sigh, lifting myself off the floor.
"How long was I out?" I tilted my head, he furrowed his eyebrows,
"For at least ten minutes." He responded.
In those ten minutes he didn't call for help?
That's...
"If you pass out again I will throw you back outside the kingdom!" He growled threateningly, I raised my eyebrows.
"Kingdom..?" I mumbled, I cant... remember.
"I have already told you! I am a PRINCE!" He wore an annoyed expression, I nodded,
"Where are we?" I asked, stupidly.
"I just- I JUsT TOLD YOU! The most prominent kingdom in all of Daemos! That's where you are!" Prominent.
Prominent.
Asch!
Asch!"A-asc-" "there you go again! Mumbling weird things to yourself!" He cut me off, I shook my head.
"I-I'm looking for people!" I yelped, having a sudden change in attitude.
"People? What people?" He furrowed his eyebrows, "If you haven't heard, the last human was killed! There are no more people on Daemos." He looked completely serious.
Killed...
"The source of our power? It's humans!"
I gasped, what was that? W-who?
Asch, Leif, Noi, Rhys, Pierce...
Ava.
Zex.
"How did I get here?" I asked him, looking him straight in the eyes,
He gave me a proud smirk, "I saved you! You were laying outside half dead, I assume you've come from the war?" He asked knowingly.
I'm so confused, "A war?" I asked again,
"You're a warrior are you not?" He asked suspiciously,
I shook my head, "I-I didn't s-say I wasn't!" I have a feeling that saying I wasn't from Daemos is a very bad id-
"Is your world not like ours?"
"NO! I mean- why else would we have a horrible monster trying to destroy it?"
I blinked, Daemos ISNT like earth, there is no such thing as peace here...
So why did he save me?
"Hm." He stared me down suspiciously, I gave him a nervous laugh,
"What is your name," He commanded, my eyes widened,
"I-uhm- my name is El- I mean-Y/n!" I struggled to remember my name, could the portal have caused this kind of memory loss?
"Y/n..." He seemed to be contemplating something, "Alright!" He shrugged,
"A-ah! Yes!" I smiled, trying to hide my nervousness, he only glanced me over weirdly.
"Well, I have no more time to waste on you! I need to go find my wifey~" He giggled, I raised an eyebrow,
"Wifey?" I asked, he nodded happily,
"Yes! My amazing wife Bish!" He praised, I giggled.
He glared at me, "What are you laughing about?!" He reaches his hand over to where a sword was held.
My eyes widened and I waved my hands in front of me, "It's just- I would really enjoy having a relationship like you and her-!" I exclaimed, smiling lightly at the thought.
"Of course you're jealous, our relationship is quite amazing!" He chuckled cockily, putting down his defenses once again.
I nodded, "Well I'm off, if you leave, you are no longer my responsibility. The soldiers may kill you. There is no guarantee for you safety." He said as he walked off, I tensed.
This world.
It really is full of war.
I shuddered at the thought of it, could Ava..?
"W-Wait!" I called after him before he turned a corner, he turned around, confusion on his face.
"What is it now!" He growled, I paused,
"Did you happen to save another when you found me?" I asked him, he thought for a second.
He pointed to the room next to where the one I left is.
"She should be inside, although I don't have a clue if she's still breathing." He warned, then walked off.
My breath caught in my throat.
She might be... dead?
I nervously walked to the door.
She couldn't be- no there's no way!
I opened the door hastily, my eyes darting over the room.
Only to find nothing.
"Are you searching for something?" A woman's voice rang from the room,
I jumped at the sudden sound, I looked to the voices owner.
Only to find a blonde woman with blue garments, and ice blue eyes.
She too, had horns.
I gulped, "Uhm, yes..?"
"Do you really think he would let you leave? That anyone in this kingdom would let someone that we know nothing about, just leave?" Her voice was emotionless, she had no remorse.
I shook my head, "I-I guess not." I mumbled, I noticed that she was sitting beside a bed.
The bed.
I looked at the blankets, they seemed to be covering someone, or maybe something?
That's when I heard a choked groan come from under them.
"Huh?" The voice was obviously confused,
"What..?" There was a slight pause to everything, the woman by her smirked, staying completely silent.
I froze.
A head popped out quickly, but for me, everything was in slow motion.
"W-who, who are you?"
