Y/N
The dark tunnels seemed eerie, if anyone were to wind up alone in here, they'd probably be traumatized.
Although, with this group... I don't think there'll be much of an issue for that.
"You can't say anything! It's your fault we got here as late as we did!" Asch huffed at Leif, to which in response, he glared at him.
"Excuse me? How was I supposed to know that these airheads would get themselves into trouble?" Leif gripped his blades tighter, I smiled at the livelihood of the group, even in this situation.
"Will you both stop arguing? You're just as bad as children!" Rhys exclaimed, pinching the brudge of his nose.
"Do you even know where we're headed to, Rhys?" Asch emphasized, clenching his hands into fists.
"I'm working on it! This task would be much easier if your endless bickering would come to a close!" He defended.
I gasped at the sight of a lever or something, everyones heads snapped to me.
I ignored their stares and ran up to the lever, "Maybe this could lead to an exit!" I grinned back at them, they seemed weary, they had their weapons at the ready.
I pulled down on the lever, which was actually a lot harder than it seemed.
A low groan erupted from the tunnel, I jumped backwards, bumping into someone.
I looked up to see Rhys, he gently placed an arm on my shoulder as reassurance, I blushed and nodded.
I looked around the tunnel, looking for any-
"Guys look! There's another tunnel thing~!" Noi exclaimed giddily, I looked to our left, seeing that there was, in fact, another tunnel.
I walked towards it, only to almost be blinded by the sudden bright lights emitting from inside it.
I covered my eyes and yelped, "Why's it so bright?" I asked, I lowered my arm from my eyes and slowly made my way back.
I poked my head inside again, only to see a tremendously large room.
"Woah," Ava awed from beside me, I nodded.
"It looks so cool!" Noi cheered, running into the room, only for him to shoot right back out and hit the wall.
I gasped, turning my attention to him, "Noi! Are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt- of course you are-" I was cut off by him placing a hand on my arm,
"Y/n, I'm fine, it takes more than that to severely injure a Daemos, but of course that doesn't mean it didn't hurt~" He sighed quietly, getting back up to his feet and dusting himself, I frowned.
"No. Let me check you for injuries." I insisted, his cheeks turned a bright red, he kept his eyes on me as I inspected his body.
"You only have a cut on your back, but it could still get infected and hurt a lot more..." I frowned at the sight of a semi deep four inch cut on his back.
I leaned in and left a small kiss on it and then carefully pat it.
I felt Noi tense at the sudden touch, "Y-Y/n?" He asked quietly, I jolted back from him.
"I'm sorry! Did that hurt? I should've been more careful- I'm so so-" he cut me off by turning around around waving his hands in front of him.
"There's no need to apologize, it just felt, weird, not a bad w-weird though!" His entire face was flushed red, I sighed and nodded.
I heard a growl behind him, I looked past him and to Pierce, only to see him have an angrier look on his face than usual.
I furrowed my eyebrows but shook it off nonetheless.
"We should attempt to be granted access to this ro-" Rhys was cut off by a booming voice, to which all the boys gripped their weapons once again.
"Seven astray who've lost their way, and nowhere to be found.
Where the world will bend and break unless the stone is found.
For in this cave, there lies a room waiting to be found.
Trials await for the seven astray, remember, in your hearts the answer will be found."The voice faded away, leaving no trace or hint of where it even came from.
I tried to calm my racing heart, which I could still hear clearly in my ears.
"When did you guys even have this tunnel system made," Ava grumbled, "Of course it had to be haunted by some creepy ghost!" She finished, Asch growled at her claims.
"Does anyone have what it said remembered?" Noi asked, Rhys nodded.
"I've got that handled," He ensured, pushing up his glasses.
"T-that j-just happened, a-and y-you guys a-arent freaked?" I asked, my voice and body shaking involuntarily, from behind me I felt my head being pat.
I melted into the familiar feeling, "Pierce..." I spoke quietly, "Thank you," I leaned back onto his chest, letting my body relax for a moment.
I felt his tense body ease up, for some reason, being around or even just seeing him, makes me calm down, and right now, being against him with him ruffling my hair?
I've never felt safer, my eyelids seemed to get heavier by the millisecond, and soon enough, black enveloped my body.
My eyes opened slowly, before softly fluttering closed again, I hugged the comfortable pillow under my head.
My soft moving pillow.
Wait what?
My eyes shot open in realization.
I looked down at my 'pillow' only to see that in place of my cloudy wonderland, was Pierce, my manly wo- no.
My head laid on his shoulder, and in fear of alerting anyone, I kept it there.
"P-Pierce?" I asked quietly, I watched as his face reacted, his cheeks tinting a light pink, where unless you were this close, would be unnoticeable.
"Hm." He hummed a reply, still moving along the dimly lit tunnel.
"I-I'm awake now, you c-can put m-me down..." It felt odd, all of his back muscles pressed against my chest.
My face flushed red.
"You need sleep." He responded quietly, I sighed and laid my head slightly against his.
I figure I have no choice, once you're in his grip, there's no getting out unless he says so.
I looked around the group, only to see Asch sending heated glares at Noi, who currently had a sleeping Ava on his back.
I smiled softly at the sight.
I squeezed Pierce a bit before softening my grip, "Thank you so much for everything you do for me, I-I really appreciate you." I complimented softly, I felt him tense and his face become extremely red.
His only response was a stiff nod.
I felt my eyes starting to get heavy again, I yawned quietly and nuzzled my head in the crook of Pierce's neck.
"Don't... strain.... yourself..." I mumbled to him before dozing off again.
Little did we know.
