Chapter 11

It was one of my amazing weeks ever. Almost everyday I'm always looking for Syverth's car after classes. He would take me to different restaurants and talk about his passion which is photography and my modellinhg stuffs.

He's fun to be with even though he rarely smiles. I still find him sexy on his strict baritone voice and cold piercing eyes. Napapangiti ko rin naman sya minsan kaya pag nangyayari iyon ay tinatandaan ko ang topic na iyon. I'd bargain anything to see those smiles too as much as he wants mine.

Last week ay mejo naiba ang destination namin at napunta kami sa Almendras Gym for that basketball league he's working with. Akala ko ay safe ako roon at walang nakakita sa amin. But I was wrong.

"Ano tong sinasabi ni kuya na nagpunta ka rawng Almendras last Friday? Naka jersey attire ka pa raw huh!" nanlalaki ang mata ni Ira habang kinikwento sa akin yun.

Nagulat ako but I remained normal. Pinilit ko pang tumawa. I don't think I could keep a secret lalo't magnet ako ng mga chismosa. I don't even know why I'm keeping Syverth too to my friends. Maybe I just really want us to be in a peaceful place and time.

"A-Ah hehehe yes, Nanoud ako." pagrarason ko kahit alam ko na ang itatanong niya.

"Sino na namang basketball player ang bet mo at parang last week lang crush mo pa yung photographer mo." napalakas ang boses niya kaya may napapalingon na mga classmates ko. I eyed her to shut up but she just mocked me.

"No! I supported a friend. Pwede ba Ira manahimik ka at nasa room tayo."

Ira just rolled her eyes at me. Buti nalang dumating ang teacher namin kaya natigil din siya.

I'm sorry Ira just wait. I need to clear things out muna before spillong the beans. But until when? Baka ako lang umaasa rito. Hays.

My thoughts of Syverths and our unsaid feelings would always fade away he's infront of me. Like now, as usual ay sinundo niya ako after class. Muntik pa akong samahan palabas nila Ira and Gabby pero winala ko sila. I feel so bad for my friends now hays.

Agad akong pumasok sa sasakyan ni Syverth ng makita ito. I was greeted by the smell of strawberries inside his car. Maybe it's his new freshener.

"Hi, I bought you something." he greeted. He's in a good mood today huh mukhang hindi masyadong galit.

My eyes were twinkling at the small box he gave me. I was on the urge of opening it when he stopped me and slightly hold my hand.

"Later." he smiled.

Omaygash! Ang gwapooo and what is this box?! Is this a ring? Mygad ang OA hahahaha! Is not like were a couple no. Huwag masyadong assuming Loren.

"What's this? And where are we going this time?" I asked, excitement is evident.

"I browse some nice place to refresh here in the city. Maganda ba roon sa Magsaysay Park?" he asked. He's veins are showing from a tight grip on his steering wheel. He looks so good on his tshirt and sweatpants today. It's a pambahay look but he still carried it elegantly.

"Yes! maganda roon especially now that Kadayawan's near. Maraming mga tribal houses doon." I got so excited imagining us on the sea view deck where lovers could seat and watch the sunset together. How romantic!

"Hmmm, let's wait till sunset." bumaling siya sa akin gamit ang malumanay na mata at matamis na ngiti.

Ginawaran ko rin yun ng ngiti. He looks so happy today. Parang sumasakit tulot ang puso ko. Pwede ba iyon? Hays.

Syverth parked his car on the left side where Comelec office was located. Hawak hawak ko pa rin ang box na binigay niya sa akin. Hindi ko naman pwedeng ipasok ito sa loob ng bulsa ko dahil magiging awkward yun sa skirt ko. Nakauniform pa naman ako ngayon.
