Chapter 1

"I told you Ms. Lim that wasn't  me! Did you watch that video ba?"

I am inside the Prefect of Discipline's office right now after a sex scandal video is spreading around the school with the title 'Uriah Loren Sy sex tape part 1' Of course that wasn't me! Hindi ko alam kung sinong nagpakalat noon at plano na naman yata niyang siraan ako.
I'm used to it. Iyong mga paninira sa akin, nasanay na ako roon. It's like my twin sister. It goes around with me. Marami doon hindi naman totoo. Some are true though, pero pinalalagpas ko lahat ng iyon.

And this time, sex scandal na naman ang binabato nila sa akin! Parang last month inakusahan pa nila ako na mang-aagaw daw ng boyfriend. Ngayon ito na naman, sure I am kind of liberated but I am still a virgin. I am still in Grade 11 after all.

"I know Ms. Sy, it's just that ayaw naming mabahiran ang name ng school because of this alleged sex scandal of yours." Ms. Lim said

"Alleged?! I told you it's not me. Can't you see na I'm slender and that girl from the video is not." pagtatanggol ko sa sarili

Napabuntong hininga lang si Ms. Lim at mukhang problemadong problemado sa bagong kaso ko ngayon.

"The school's IT specialist is doing their job to take that video down right now. So you better clean your name also Loren."

As if I could do anything to clean my name. My reputation in this school is stained long ago. I don't care anymore

Magpapaalam na sana akong umalis na para makahabol pa sa next subject ko nang bigla namang pumasok si Mama sa office ni Ms. Lim.

Why did they call her?!

"Goodmorning, I'm sorry I'm late I had an urgent meeting Ms. Lim" Mama said with eyes directed unto me.

So what now? Alam niya na kaya ang tungkol sa sex scandal. I'll hate her pag pinawalaan niya yun she knows me better.

"It's okey Doktora Sy, anyways I already talked to your daughter. She said it wasn't her on the video-"

"Of course that's not my daughter! For Godsake she's still 17 and all. You should do something Ms. Lim."

Hahahaha! I knew it. Mama has some kind of power of authority here since she's a resident doctor of this school's hospital, San Pedro Hospital.

"We are Doc Sy, we're sorry to put your daughter in this situation. We are doing our best to clear everything out to the students." Ms. Lim explained

Mama looked at me with a concerned face. She look tired and worried at the same time. Walang hiya talaga itong mga taong wala nang  ibang ginawa kundi ang siraan ako.

"I have class pa po. Can I go now Ms. Lim?"

Ms. Lim then startled and said I could go na since it's almost time for the next period.

I kissed mama before I went out. She'll stay muna daw kasi mag-uusap pa sila ng Prefect. If i now, tatakutin niya lang iyon para hindi na madagdag pa itong scandal na ito sa mga records ko. She want my name clean to maintain her reputation also as a Doctor.

As I walked through the hallway, mga mapanghusgang mga mata kaagad ang sumalubong sa akin. Mga judgemental! Go and believe that it was me! Mamatay kayo kakachismis sa akin. As if I care!

Nagpatuloy nalang ako sa paglalakad with head and chin up and straight to let them see that I am unbothered of their mapanghusgang tingin.

"Loren!"

Nabuhayan naman nang biglang sumulpot si Miguel out of the crowd. He's my boyfriend... As of now.

I smiled cutely at him ignoring all those eyes on eyes. I even kissed him on the cheek. He doesn't look like he's pleased though. Don't tell me pati siya maniniwala roon?

"I saw the video" he said feeling uneasy.

"Kung naniniwala kang ako yun then I'm sorry Miguel. I still have class. If you can excuse me."

Tatakbo na sana ako papunta nang classroom nang bigla niyang hinawakan ang palapulushan ko.

"What?!" I shouted at him

Nagulat siya roon at binitawan ang paghawak sa palapulsuhan ko nang natantong nakuha namin ang atensyon ng mga tao.

Ayan! Mahihiya naman pala!
Iniwan ko nalang siya doon at dumiretso na sa classroom. I looked at my watch and freaked out when I saw that I'm 10 minutes late and it's a Basic Calculus class!

Urgh I hate Miguel! I hate that person who edited that scandal to make it look like me! I hate everyone!

Kailan pa ba matatapos itong mga isyu na 'to!

Sure it was, I am late already.

That's why after class I went out of the campus with my  bestfriend Ira to leave that suffocating school for a while.

"Ang kapal naman ni Miguel at naniwala pa talaga sya roon Lors? Sayang at bet na bet ko pa naman siya for you. I thought he was different since his 19!" Ira ranted.

We we're inside a Japanese restaurant for our lunch. And I told here everything happened why I was late.

"Akala ko nga rin eh! Kaya nga hindi na ako nagboboyfriend nang mga kaedad natin kase ang iimature nila. They can't handle me."

I thought of all my exes from Grade 7, all of them are on my age and batch. Ngayon lang ako nagkaboyfriend nang mas matanda sa akin. Miguel is 2 years older from me but he's still in Grade 12. Maaga lang talaga akong nag-aral kaya kahit 17 pa ay nasa Grade 11 na ako.

"Maybe I should break up with him and find a... Ugh much older?" I said.

"What?! Naku pag-isipan mo yan Loren. 6 months na rin kayo ni Miguel and it seems like you're good with him naman" Ira said.

"Yes, he understands me most of the time. Pero kasi I think naniwala siya na ako nga talaga yung nasa scandal video" I felt sad remembering his reactions kanina.

"You should talk with him." she said at hinigop na ang natitirang sabaw ng ramen niya.

I sighed. I guess I should talk to him. Masyado lang akong nag over react kanina. And Ira's right. We seemed to work as a couple.

"Anyways, I have shoot tomorrow with Peter sa Catalina Garden." I said

She looked at me a questioning look first. I raised my eyebrow.

"So?" Maarte niyang sabi. Parang alam na kung saan tutungo ang usapan

"So hindi ako makakapunta sa group review." I said joyfully hoping that she'll save my ass.

"Okey fine!" She said looking so defeated.

"Good! Then we'll go shopping together later for my outfits bukas."
I said happily.

It's photoshoot day tomorrow! I can't wait to dress up and look worry-free infront of camera lenses.
