I'll stop rambling now. Here's the story!

Secrets and memories are strange things. Some are nothing compared to others, just small pebbles against huge boulders.
But some secrets and memories have the power to destroy.
One of my youngest memories was being left in a dark, smelly room with another girl who looked exactly like me. The only difference, our eyes. Her's are turquoise whereas mine are an amethyst.
But both held fear. We were scared for our lives as we hold each other's gaze. A silent plead for a plan is asked between us but neither has a reply.
We stand back to back and hold our fists up high, ready for anything.
All my memories from before I turned five are gone now though, all memories except for this small scene.
There is a secret in this memory, one that now is covered in smoke.
