I honestly hadn't meant to lose control against Caspian. Something small just set me off and I blew up. I'd done it before and regretted it every single day. But that was in the past and I couldn't change what happened.

"Don't touch me." Thylli says. Lora's face looks ashen and pal. I feel sorry for the girl but at the same time, I don't care.

I watch with a blank face as Lora's blood blankets the ground in a crimson layer, her breath coming in short bursts. She looked like she was in pain and Thylli just backed away. Lora presses her hands over her ears and starts to black out.

I glared at Thylli. It was all her fault this was happening. If she had just accepted that we'd all train together then this might not have happened.

I lunge at the dark haired girl but my fingers only graze her before I'm yanked back by a force. It looks like wispy arms are holding me back, their yellow tinge becoming darker as they near my body. I feel myself weaken heaps and all my anger drains away as reality kicks back in.

"Himari, let me go." The wisps don't go away so I ask her again, my tone sharper and more commanding. But they still stay.

I start to panic and wrestle against the light wisps but they hold me fast, not letting go. I turn toward Himari and see her concentrating on Lora, more of the light wisps curling toward Lora's forehead.

After a few more minutes of this torture, Lora sits up and shakes her head.

My heart starts to pump faster. My bones rattle and it's becoming harder to breathe.

"Himari... let... go..." I slowly wheeze out the words and this time, she lets me go.

I collapse on the ground and empty the contents of my stomach onto the ground. 'Too much light. Too much. Almost died again. Too much.'

Himari looks over at me but I glare at her. I feel bad for doing it but she doesn't say anything as she helps me up.

"Tell me later okay?" I give her a stiff nod before leaning against a tree and deciding to observe instead.

I see Thylli walk away and roll my eyes. It was obvious before we all met that this training session would be a fail. There was no point in it and having so many different people joined by one or two people would never work. We were all too different.

Tears start to spill down Lora's cheeks in waves. But she recovers quickly and starts to look for her glasses which seem to have fallen off. Himari walks over to the crying girl with her glasses and hands them to her. Lora sits back and breathes. Himari wraps an arm around her shoulders and comforts her.

"Hey, it's okay. You'll be fine. It's just Thylli, and you and I both know she'll be fine later. Come and join us in training our gifts." Lora wipes her eyes and nods.

"Ahem. I'm still here you know." I look at Caspian, and glare.

"We know that. But do you have an emergency problem right now?" I felt my anger rising again for some unknown reason.

"Eraeya! He's our friend. We're all here to train and so far, we've done nothing. So if either of you wishes not to train or be here anymore you can leave." Himari's face is set in stone and she's holding Lora's shoulders.

"Sorry Himari," I mumble. She shakes her head before sending a shock of light into my and Caspian's stomachs. I groan as I sit up and see spots in my vision. I crawl over to a bush before puking the rest of my lunch up.

"Don't. Do that. Again." I glare at Himari and she shrugs.

"You deserved that for fighting. Now can we please start training?" I stand up and brush myself off. I was lucky I hadn't vomited all over my clothes but my breath stank like something rotten.

I see Caspian start to get up and hold out a hand. He hesitates at first but at a look from Himari he accepts. I pull him up and cross my arms as I face Himari. This training session would be a long one.
