Chapter Twenty: Hypnosis and Honesty

Lily's POV

Jaden got hypnotized to do some pretty scary stuff, or at least it seemed scary to someone like me who had a fear of lack of control, so I watched from a safe distance.

"Okay, anyone have any other requests?" Asked the man, Zach I believed his name was, whilst Jaden was in a seep-like state. Most of the guys raised their hands, of course, and I just tried to stay as far away as possible from the situation.

"Yeah, you." Zach said, pointing to Anthony, who smirked as he quickly glanced at me. No, pass. What are you planning?

"Can we make him meet Lily all over again?" asked Anthony, as if having an amazing idea. Zach furrowed his brows, debating the idea. "So, like make him kinda forget meeting her?" "Yeah, yeah."

In all honesty, I found the idea interesting, since he was taken when we first met so he was always kinda weary about what he did and said at first.

"Lily, if you could position yourself so he'll see you and you'll kinda stand out?"

I did as I was told, going to stand next to Anthony whilst Zach did his thing, clicking to wake up Jaden, whom went back to an upright position. "Oh, hey, man, I forgot to introduce you to my friend, Lily." Stated Zach, gesturing in my direction, and I gave a small wave as his green eyes met the gaze of my own.
"Hey." I kindly greeted, and he gave a shy and nervous smile back, unable to maintain eye contact for all that long. "Uh..um, h-hey. I'm Jaden." He nervously replied, hesitantly taking a few steps closer before extending his hand towards me, which I gently took and shook, resisting the urge to laugh.
"Y-You're, um... you're, like... wow." He stumbled over god-knows what he was trying to say, looking to Anthony with wide eyes as some of the guys laughed and I giggled a bit.
"Thanks, you're 'wow' too." So this is what would have happened if he were single when we met... interesting.
"Can I, um, do you have Instagram or anything? Maybe we could hangout sometime... maybe?" I'd never seen him so nervous, and again I found myself laughing as he held the bottom of his shirt tightly.

"Actually, Jaden, she has a boyfriend." Zach told him, winking at me as if to signal for me to go along with it, which I did as I nodded and his smile instantly dropped, though he tried to seem okay with it as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Oh, right, of course you do. Sorry-"

"Hey, man, what do you think of Lily then? Like, we were talking earlier and she might wanna hang with us a bit more, how does that sound to you?" Anthony asked, and again I went along with it. Jaden smiled a little at that, nodding.
"Uh, yeah, that sounds cool. She seems, uh... cool." Jesus I forgot how bad he used to be.

"Zach, man, can we please put him out of his misery." I pleaded, not liking to see him all helpless. Zach agreed and took him out of his trance, bringing him into and then back from his sleeping state.

He stood back in his upright position and smiled at me widely. "Never do that to me again! That wasn't funny." The green eyed boy told me sternly, though his grin told me he wasn't all that serious.

The hypnotizing came to an end and Jaden was quick to embrace me in a tight hug after an hour of having a morphed reality. "Awe, my poor bubs." I attempted to sympathise as I rubbed up and down his back, swaying from side to side with him a little.

"Okay, that's it for the video but do any of you guys have any requests just for fun?" Asked Zach, causing Jaden and I to break apart to see what people said. "I think Lily should get a go." Anthony instantly volunteered me as a tribute, and I resisted the urge to rudely decline the offer instantly as everyone stared at me.
