chapter thirty-four

Jungkook frantically rushed out of Taehyung's room, not before telling the vampire that he loved him.

He ran down the hallway and into the main foyer, seeing Namjoon with a bunch of other wolves.

"Joon!" He called out, getting the tall male's attention.

"Jungkook." Namjoon said, moving quickly to the alpha. "It's getting out of hand, Jungkook. They're attacking the pack, and burning down everything in their path."

Jungkook frowns, his anger pooling in his eyes. "How did they cross the border?"

Namjoon sighs. "I have no idea. All we know is that they had some sort of help to get in undetected by the pack guards."

"Well, now we have to protect the pack. Get all the omegas and children to the safe house. The rest of you will fight, understood?" Jungkook says, earning a a short yes from the other wolves.

They opened the doors to the pack house, seeing that the pack was already in shambles.

Plumes of smoke were seen from burning rooftops and the smell of blood and greed intoxicated the once heavenly sweet smelling forest.

The wolves dispersed, fighting off vampires who tried to attack defenceless wolves and bringing the omegas and children to safety.

Jungkook transformed into his wolf, sliding into his wolf's subcontious as he bit into a vampire's neck, flinging him across the field.

A loud hiss erupted from behind him, making Jeongguk come face to face with another bloodthirsty monster.

The vampire licked his cherry red lips, his heightened hearing picking up the sound of warm blood flowing through the alpha's veins, making his blood lust increase.

"Why, hello there, alpha." The vampire said, his voice shrill as his eyes shimered a dark, cherry red.

Jeongguk growled harshly at the vampire before him, taking note of the other's sharp fangs and nails.

"We can't wait to take over your little pack." The other said, finally attempting to pounce on the wolf.

Jeongguk dodged the blows, moving swiftly on his paws as the vampire repeatedly tried to claw at him with his sharp, talon like nails.

Jeongguk growled, attacking from behind as he pinned the vampire down, leaving a deep claw at the vampire's chest as he did so.

Blood seeped onto the mossy ground, tainting the floor in a deep shade of red. A strained, pyschotic laugh made it's way from the vampire's mouth, who seemed to grow paler and paler each time more blood flowed from his body.

"You will never be able to defeat her." The vampire choked out, a maniac-like smile painting his now pale lips. "For she was the one who made all of this happen."

Jungkook took over, changing himself back to his human form as he glared murderously at the almost lifeless being on the floor.

"Who is this person you are talking about?" He asked, his voice dangerous.

The vampire cackled. "Oh, alpha. Look behind you."

Jungkook stiffened, turning around to come face to face with the person he most truly despised.

"Hello, brother." The painfully sickly sweet voice called out, a demonic smile lighting up her full lips.

Perfect rows of white teeth greeted him, but all Jungkook could do was glare at the other, hatred pooling in his veins.

"I see that you're not happy to see me.'" The other laughed. "Well, i don't think i can blame you."

"What the fuck are you doing here, Eun-jung?" Jungkook growls, his anger boiling at the sight of his so called sister.

Eun-jung let out a demonic laugh, her eyes flashing the same amber colour as her brother, just that her eyes held a more sinister look in them.

"Isn't it obvious brother?" She asks, smirking deviously as they started circling each other.

Jungkook glared darkly. "You're trying to take over the pack with those vampires, aren't you?"

Eun-jung laughed. "You think i want this pack of yours? Oh, please no."

Jungkook narrowed his eyes.

Eun-jung gave a sly smile. "The vampires can have your measly pack. I'm here for something far more valuable." She said, before Jungkook noticed a dark glint in her eyes.

"I'm here to collect the thing i should have the last time at the vampire pack with mum and dad." Eun-jung said, glaring at Jungkook.

"What are you talking about?"

Eun-jung gave a twisted smile. "I'm here for that little vampire of yours."

Jungkook growled lowly, eyes flashing a vibrant amber at the mention of his Taehyung.

"Not on my watch." He growled, finally going into action as he shot up to Eun-jung, trying to land a blow at her.

Unfortunately, Eun-jung swiftly dodged her brother's attack, bending down to quickly kick Jungkook's feet. She grabbed the knife she had placed in her belt as she managed to slash the other as he collapsed to the floor.

Jungkook groaned, hands making it's way to the gash he had as he felt his blood drip onto the mossy ground. Eun-jung cackled, plunging herself towards the injured ravenette as she attempted to stab him.

Jungkook managed to dodge her attack, resulting in her tumbling forward a bit as she tried to regain her balance. The sudden move though made the ravenette's side burn in pain even more, resulting in a pained hiss.

Eun-jung came back to her senses, looking over at the fallen alpha.

"You aren't as quick on your feet as you used to be, aren't you Jungkook?" She said, mock in her tone. "That vampire has weakened you, don't you think?"

Jungkook glared. "Taehyung did not weaken me."

Eun-jung raised an eyebrow, playing with the knife in her hands.

"Oh really?" She giggled, the sound sending shivers down the ravenette's spine.

The beautiful raven female batted her long eyelashes innocently, squatting down so that she was levelled to Jungkook who was on the floor.

"Brother, you've gone weak. It's pathetic, really." She laughed, throwing her head back. "And all for this little vampire."

Jungkook growled, wanting to pounce at her, but before he could, the dagger the female was holding plunged into his chest, eliciting a loud groan as more blood oozed from his already weak body.

Eun-jung smirked devilishly, liking the way her brother's face contorted into sheer pain as the sharp object made contact with his smooth skin.

She was truly demonic.

"Don't worry brother~" she purred twisting the knife painfully in her brother's chest as she watched blood flow down the open wound. "I'll get rid of that little vampire for you."

Her face wore a maniac-like smile, her eyes glinting evilly as she brought the knife deeper into her brother's chest.

A painful cry came from the weak ravenette, the blood leaving his body rapidly. He felt his lungs tighten as it got harder for him to breathe, the excruciating pain the dagger brought simply overwhelming.

Before Eun-jung could laugh at her brother's misery though, a loud cry echoed from across the field.

"Jungkook!"
