chapter seven

Taehyung groans as he shields his eyes from the light filtering into the room. He grumbles silently as he tries to turn to his right, finding it impossibly hard too.

He feels warmth wrap his waist, confusing him.

"What even-"

Taehyung yelps as he takes in the sight in front of him.

Before him lay a sound asleep Jungkook, his fluffy hair a morning mess and face adorably cute, arms wrapped up tightly around his waist. Taehyung tries not to coo at the sight.

But then it hits him.

What the hell is Jungkook doing in his bed?!

"What the hell, Jeon- Get off of me!" Taehyung screams, trying to push off Jungkook's strong hands from his waist, but to no avail.

Jungkook groans, his grip on Taehyung's waist subcontiously tightening as the brunette lets out a surprised yelp.

The ravenette's eyes flutters open as he takes in the shocked expression of the other.

Taehyung furrows his eyebrows as he felt Jungkook make no move in removing his hand from his waist.

"Get your arm off of me, Jeon." Taehyung says seriously, earning a throaty chuckle from the other.

For some strange and bizarre reason, Taehyung felt his face flush at the sound, the boy finding it weirdly attractive.

"I think i'm fine here." Jungkook replies, his gaze holding the same seriousness as Taehyung's.

Taehyung gapes at that, hands instantly trying to pry off Jungkook's hands from him, as Jungkook laughs at the vampire's feeble attempt.

Taehyung uncontiously pouts, making Jungkook internally coo at how adorable the other looked.

Taehyung snaps his head up as he realises that Jungkook wouldn't budge, instantly sending a sharp glare at the other.

"What the hell, Jeon! What do you think your doing?" He shoots, watching as Jungkook raised an eyebrow.

"Um, sleeping with you?" Jungkook answers.

"You say that like it's a normal thing. We were just fighting yesterday!" Taehyung shouts, Jungkook wincing slightly from the sound.

"Well, that was yesterday." Jungkook shrugs, Taehyung just gaping unbelievably at the other. "Something changed about my perspective of you yesterday." Jungkook adds.

"Oh?" Taehyung asks, raising an eyebrow. "And what changed your perspective of me that you went from being all aggressive and alpha to hugging me in bed?"

Jungkook lets out a chuckle.

"For me to know, for you to find out." He replies.

"Well i think i deserve to know if you're going to keep doing this without my knowledge." Taehyung complains.

Jungkook grins. "All in good time, Taehyung."

"Oh, and Taehyung?"

"Yes, Jeon?"

"Call me Jungkook."

Taehyung sat on his bed, thinking deeply.

He was confused, and a bit overwhelmed.

The dream. His father. His mother. Jungkook.

"What the hell is going on?" Taehyung muttered to himself.

He paced back and forth in his room, before stopping in front of the big window overlooking the village. He saw little werepups playing happily with their friends, Taehyung unintentionally smiling at them. The childhood he could only dream about.

Taehyung snapped out of his trance as he heard a knock on the door.

He brushed his clothes quickly before finally opening his room door.

"Oh, Jin-hyung. What brings you here?" Taehyung asked as the elder smiled lightly.

"I came here to collect you. Jungkook wants to see you in the meeting room, Taehyung." Jin answered, guiding the smaller male down the hallway.

"Jungkook wants to meet me? Why?" Taehyung asked, passing by the violet door Jungkook had warned him not to enter, which peaked his interests more.

"He said he wanted to discuss what happened earlier this morning. I don't know what happened, but i hope you'll handle it well, Tae." Jin replied, a small blush creeping up Taehyung's cheeks, which, fortunately, went unnoticed.

They stopped in front of a big, majestic door, Jin knocking before gesturing for Taehyung to enter.

"You're not coming in?"

"No. Jungkook said he wanted to discuss it with you...privately." Jin murmured.

Taehyung nodded lightly, taking a deep breath before opening the door and entering the dimly lit room.

It was almost pitch black in there, the only signs of light were the two lamps situated on either ends of the big room, making it almost impossible to see. But, with his vampire vision, Taehyung could see around the room easily.

Which made him shiver when he saw Jungkook stare at him intensely from the other end, despite the darkness.

"You called me here?" Taehyung asked, trying not to stutter under Jungkook's powerful gaze.

Jungkook kept silent, the sounds of his footsteps nearing Taehyung as Taehyung held his breath.

"J-jeon?" Taehyung stuttered, backing away until his back hit the wall.

Jungkook leaned in close to Taehyung, his hot breath on Taehyung's neck sending shivers down the latter's spine.

"What did I tell you to call me, Tae?" Jungkook whispered huskily, his voice deep.

Taehyung internally smacked himself, gasping as he felt Jungkook lightly grab his hands.

"W-what are you--"

Lights filled the room, blinding Taehyung momentarily as he blinked a couple of times to get used to the light.

Jungkook just stared deep into Taehyung's deep, hazel eyes, making Taehyung melt into Jungkook's charcoal, black ones.

Jungkook's gaze finally trailed down Taehyung's face, down his jawline, collarbone, arms and finally his wrist.

Taehyung felt his breath hitch as he felt Jungkook bring his hand up to his lips, kissing it softly.

"J-jungkook, are you o-okay?" Taehyung stuttered, still taken aback by Jungkook's odd behaviour.

Jungkook smiled.

"I'm fine, Taehyung. Are you?"
