once we went inside and got our plates we went to the porch where there were all of the adults. i introduced myself to Varo's parents and i got welcomed by Jas' parents. there was a table where there was carne asada and some beans and rice. after i got some and ate Jas, Varo and I told the adults we were gonna go to the back of the house where the pool was to just hang out there. we didn't get in the pool but we just dipped out feet in it.

a few minutes later.

we were gonna go back to the porch since they were making dessert now but Varo stopped me. "hey can we talk?" he said shyly. i just nodded and he took me to a table with two chairs by the pool. "look i never meant for us to argue already. and what i did was wrong and it's understandable if you don't forgive me but i just really wanna go back to being friends like before. you think that's possible?" Varo was sweet but no apology really compared to Mattia's. i laughed a bit thinking about it. Varo gave me a confused smile but almost forced. i just shrugged the laugh off and nodded.

"it's okay, just next time. don't." he nodded.

"we should probably go head in too, Jas is already in the living room waiting. i gave him a half smile and just nodded. we head inside to the living room and i see Jas and Varo's mom. Jas was sitting on the couch on her phone and his mom was just cutting some pie as part of the dessert. i glanced over at her and smiled. i walked towards her including Varo so i could say hi again. she gave me a small yet tight hug and i smiled as we pulled back.

"you guys finally forgave each other?" she said laughing. me and Varo turned our heads to look at Jas. she turned her head too as if she was confused as well.

"you told her Jas?" Varo and i said upset. she started walking towards us three and shook her head no as long as giving us all a confused look.

"if i can ask Mrs. Romero, how did you find out about me and Varo's argument?" i said confusingly and waiting for a response.

"well both me and your mom were there when it happened, sweetie" me and Varo looked at each other confused.

"are we talking about the same argument because my mom isn't here Mrs. Romero? although i don't recall having another argument with Varoo.." i said shifting my head to Varo, him doing the same. his mom spoke up once again.

"you guys were only 6.. my adorable little babies. you guys met in Preschool and finally hung out at the park.." she said trailing off with a smile. she softly laughed and walked to the living room, all three of us walked behind her confused and sat down next to her. as she told the story..
