"yes. okay, thank you. yes, you may pack your things now. i'll plan out everything, merlin." (a/n: i got this name from a show i just finished watching..... the seven deadly sins LMAO literally i loved it. i don't know mar's mom's name so i used merlin.)
"dad, will they come today, tomorrow, or another day?" y/n asked her dad.
y/n had just finished cleaning the downstairs guest room as well as around the house. mariano and her mom planned on moving in soon with the Y/L/N's. kairi was still a bit insecure about the whole situation but he couldn't do much. all he could do was sit back and watch y/n slowly distance herself from him.. because of mar.
"they'll be moving in, in a few days. we just need to clean a bit more around before they move into their rooms." her dad told her. she nodded.
"kay. also, question." y/n said. her dad nodded as to asking what it was. "will merlin have her own room or will she be in the same room as you." she was afraid to ask since she didn't want her dad to move too fast with his love life, even if she had nothing to do with it.
"yes." he said. he walked on over next to her side and put his hand on her shoulder. "she'll have her own room but it'll be across from mine. meaning your room will be across from mar's." he said. she nodded but then quickly silently gasped.
"wait. i thought mine was the furthest from his room." she said. he sighed.
"i know, and it was. but me and merlin wanted you and mar to get along. so i switched rooms downstairs. so i'll be staying in the guest room. thankfully, it's not too small. but we'll have to move a lot of things, let's do that tomorrow. let's get rest for tonight, okay?" he said to her. she nodded and smiled. he kissed her head goodnight and went to his old room where his current bed was. y/n stayed in the living room not knowing how to react.
she sat for what seemed like hours. it became dark and quiet. y/n's dad had went to sleep earlier than other times to wake up early. y/n on the other hand, couldn't even think about sleeping. y/n quietly got up from the couch and went up the stairs slowly. each step creaking louder and louder. she grew furious over the small noise and ran for it. she ran into her room and shoved her head into the cold soft covers. *ding ding ding ding* y/n rolled off her stomach and checked to see four messages from jas.
