after hearing that on the news, kairi and y/n still didn't understand what the big deal was. kairi lived in florida so he would just drive a few blocks and he was at home. but everyone else on the other hand.. lived about seventeen hours away.
"we're gonna be stuck in florida!!!" varo said grabbing y/n's arm and shaking it back and forth. he stopped shortly afterwards, realizing she wasn't panicking at all.
"we might as well make the most of it." y/n says. everyone turns their heads to look at her. everyone was surprised, they didn't think she would take it so well. after all, her dad just got stabbed like a day ago. they thought she would wanna get home sooner to take care of him. y/n shrugs.
"what's the big deal? it'll be fun, there's gonna be tons of things to do!! right?" y/n turned her head to look at kairi waiting for his response. he was happy about them coming all the way from new jersey to see him but what he wasn't happy about was how their parents were gonna react.
"guys, im happy and shit but what about your guys' parents? i don't think they would react happy if they found out their kids are staying in florida for who knows how long." kairi didn't want them to get yelled at. and he didn't want their parents to get worried. especially y/n's.. after all, they were a 'thing' and he wanted to have a good first impression on her dad. although, they both didn't know what they were, all they knew was that they wanted to be together.
"yoo, quit being boring!! our parents can't really do nothing anywayyy..." a wide grin appeared on mattia's face.
"bruh.. says the one that bursted into the room panicking." y/n says, defending kairi and varo for being 'dramatic' about the situation. she rolls her eyes.
"okay whatever guys, let's just unpack what we brought and go to bed already. it's getting late." alejandro said taking out his phone checking the time.
"oh uh yeah, okay i can help..." y/n said trying to get away from jas for a moment. she wanted to talk to alejandro. she needed to. alejandro and y/n walk out to the car and grab the few bags they brought.
"sooo, what'd you wanna talk about?" alejandro said zipping up one of the bags that were open. y/n looks over at him.
"shit, how'd you knowww?!" y/n said as she playfully nudged his arm. he laughed and nodded his head waiting for her to speak.
"im upset that jas didn't say anyth-" alejandro cut her off before finishing her sentence.
"we have no idea how long we have in florida.. so enjoy the time, y/n. forgive and forget." alejandro asked what she needed to talk about but he didn't let her finish. she was honestly annoyed at him for that. but she breathed in and out for a few seconds before kairi came out.
"excited to share a one bed room?" kairi said smirking. y/n laughed. kairi helped with the bags and grabbed some from y/n's hand. she smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
they got to the stairs where everyone else was sitting down now. y/n and kairi gave all the bags to the guys and jas. y/n grabbed her own bag and kairi brought a bag from his car.
they all got into their hotel room and they were all either across or next to each other so it would be easier to talk with them all.
after a few minutes, y/n and kairi had all their things organized around the room so now they just decided to relax and make some tiktoks or watch a movie. y/n decided on wearing:

y/n decided to use her outfit as an advantage. she used the sound on tiktok "do i make you horny baby". she walked towards kairi and started recording. he looked her up and down then bit his lips. kairi slowly realized the sound and threw a pillow at her. y/n picked up the pillow that fell on the ground and jumped onto the bed and started throwing pillows at him.
a few minutes went by and they were now under the covers. they haven't cuddled or touched at all. it all seemed weird. but they decided on watching the movie "after".
during the movie.. kairi felt the urge to get close to her and just hug her. but he didn't know if she would be okay with it. she was too into the movie that she didn't even feel him scoot closer. when he scoot closer he wrapped his arms around her.
"jayden, stop it!" y/n flinched. she didn't realize what she had said until kairi let go of her and turned off the tv. she got up from the bed and said.
"im gonna go brush my teeth to go to bed." kairi got up, not to long after and went to the bathroom to see her.
"what the fuck did he do to you, y/n?" kairi said clearly frustrated.
"nothing, kai." y/n said avoiding eye contact. kairi sighed loud and picked her up. he set her on the bathroom counter and stood between her legs.
"what. did. he. do. to. you?" kairi said as he grabbed her face. he was worried for her, he felt hurt for her.
after y/n explained what happened that one night with jayden to kairi, kairi felt frustrated. he felt angry.
"asshole, im gonna beat his ass.." y/n laughed. kairi turned his head to look at her confused.
"5'4" she whispered. she was about to get off the counter but kairi stopped her.
"5'4 my ass. i'll get the boys to jump him. why didn't you tell me before? wait do the boys know?"
"yeahhh" y/n said avoiding eye contact again.
"how come they got to know before mee!" kairi said playfully rolling his eyes.
"i didn't tell you because i didn't want you to get mad.." y/n shrugged.
"i am trying to hold in my anger right now, y/n.. that little piece of shit!" kairi cracked his knuckles but y/n grabbed his hands with her hands and slowly hugged him after.
"its gonna be okay, ill break up with him when i have the courage. later, but i will do it." kairi pulled away from the hug.
"you didn't do it yet?" kairi said. y/n shook her head.
"just stay away from him.. please." y/n nodded her head. she didn't want kairi even more upset so she just decided to get off the counter and grab his hand. they walked to the bed and heard noises from the room next to them. alejandro's and jas' room. moaning.
both kairi and y/n fell to the ground laughing. they pulled out their phones and started recording to remind them tomorrow.
"look at them, having fun already!!" kairi said as he continued laughing. y/n playfully punched him on the arm.
"heyy! hey hey! we're having funnn... kindaa!" y/n said. kairi picked her up again and threw her on the bed. he smiled. and whispered in her ear.
"im talking about.. fun fun." she could see him grinning by the corner of her eye. she got goosebumps.
"but don't worry, take your time." kairi said, getting off of her and finally turning off the lights to go to bed. y/n smiled like crazy thinking about what kairi said to her.
"goodnight, cutie." y/n said as she pulled him close. he smiled as they kissed each other.
"goodnight, beautiful." kairi said as he wrapped his arms around her. she wrapped her legs around him and laid her head on his chest..
