a few hours pass (third person POV)

the two girls and five boys were all in florida now. they were all excited, but the most excited two out of them all were mattia and
y/n. mattia was excited because he was gonna see his best friend after so many years. and of course, y/n. she was excited to meet the dreamy guy she's been talking to. jas and y/n got off the car, jas followed behind her.

they were at a hotel and they were planning on getting a room for a while until they surprised kairi. y/n asked for a two bed room. jas interrupted and asked for three more and asked if the rooms could be across or next to each other. the guy at the front desk nodded his head and once they payed for the rooms he gave them the keys for the room.

"why'd you ask for two more rooms, jas? we just wasted money and we don't even know anyone here to use those rooms!" y/n said upset with jas. feeling guilty.. jas moved so that the boys and y/n were face to face.

"im sorry i just really wanted them to come... plus there's gonna be a surprise!!" jas said trying to lighten the mood. she gave y/n jazz hands.

"yeahh, i don't think y/n is going to like this surprise." mattia said unsure.

"wait mattia, you know what the surprise is?" everyone asked him. including jas.

"of course, im not an idiot." he said. he dragged jas far enough so that the rest couldn't hear them. everyone looked at the confused, except alejandro. he thought mattia liked jas and was trying to take her from him. they weren't dating but alejandro thought that there was definitely something there between them. a spark. mattia spoke up to jas. "y/n is not going to be happy about the fact that me and the guys are friends with kairi. trust me jas. why would you think it's good? i thought you told her we were friends!!" mattia said frustrated with jas. the reason she wouldn't be happy was obvious. but that's until the time comes that you'll understand.

"wow wow wow, how do you even know it's kairi?" jas said looking back and forth at y/n and mattia.

"again, im not an idiot. but why didn't you tell her we knew him already!" mattia said whisper yelling.

"i thought you guys didn't know it was kairi! and i didn't want you guys knowing but yet here we are!!" mattia groaned. at this point they were making no sense so they put their anger aside and walked back to the group.

"what was all that yelling about?" alejandro said trying to get involved in their business. mattia shook his head and walked towards
y/n. varo ran up to y/n too.

"hey can i invite a friend to the hotel?" varo asked y/n with puppy eyes. y/n groaned. she felt uncomfortable about a stranger coming into their room. she nodded and just walked upstairs.

"y/n can i share a room with alejandrooo?" jas asked y/n. y/n looked down at the two holding hands. she smirked and nodded again.

"wait who am i gonna be sharing with?" y/n asked.

"well, roshaun is sharing with varo. mattia with robert. and you're gonna be alone i guess." alejandro said as he slowly looked at jas. she felt bad but she really wanted to be alone with alejandro.

"fine." y/n said annoyed.

"no you won't!! my friend just came and maybe you guys can share!" varo said jumping up and down. everyone turned around to varo and gave him a 'are you dumb' face.

"she's not sleeping with a total stranger in her room, varo." jas said speaking up.

"uhm guys, he's not a 'total stranger'.. we all know him clear enough..." mattia said nudging jas.

jas turned around as her jaw dropped. everyone besides jas, mattia and y/n ran up to the guy. y/n hasn't seen him yet. confused, she turned around. before she could see him mattia and jas grabbed her arm and yanked her to their room.

"what's that all about guys?? let me go see who he is!" y/n said annoyed with mattia and jas for not giving her the chance to see him.

"you'll see him tomorrow!!! go to sleep!" jas said trying to tuck her into bed already.

"bruh, it's not even nine. plus im gonna be sleeping in the same room as him. might as well get to know him.." y/n said. mattia and jas looked at each other then back at y/n. they sighed but let y/n get up.

"you're right.." they both said as they let y/n through the door.

"thank you, geez." y/n said still upset with them. she thought to herself. what are they hiding and who do they not want me to see right now? y/n put her thoughts aside as she walked down the stairs to walk to the little waiting room and meet up with them all. she was a little nervous, because it was a stranger after all. and she was unsure of what he would do to her. she was still shaken up about jayden. varo saw her and ran up to her, he grabbed her hand.

"you okay? you seem really nervous and your hands are sweaty." varo said slowly letting go of her hand. y/n laughed trying to make herself feel better.

"im okay varo, im just gonna meet a guy that i have to sleep with." y/n said grinning at varo. varo nudged her shoulder laughing.

"don't worry, he's a really cool guy!" varo said. he grabbed her arm and dragged her faster down the stairs. he was really excited to introduce them both to each other. he loved introductions. especially him doing them. she ran down the stairs so she was at the same speed as varo. once they got to the bottom of the stairs, y/n walked up to the guy and he turned around to face her. they didn't even talk. they just stared at each other surprised.
y/n felt like she was dreaming. the guy, stared at her. as a small smile appeared on his face.
