me and kairi stopped talking for a bit because we've gotten busy and we never had time. he never texted me first so that's another reason, i told myself i wouldn't let myself text him first. i finally gave up though because i needed to talk to someone. lately my parents have been arguing about someone and their kid. i eventually got tired of the yelling and i was gonna go downstairs to ask what's wrong but instead i ease-dropped on their conversation, probably not the best idea but i did it either way.
"oh my god i am tired of it!! just let him stay, y/d/n.. he has no where else to stay and we're his only option!!!" i heard my mom yelling at my dad about some guy staying over, i had no idea who it was but i was tempted to know now.
"i have no damn idea what could happen with him and my daughter and im not gonna risk it, y/m/n!! you've heard he's a bad man and i don't want him to hurt her in any way.. what if likes her huh? what if they date!!!" my dad said trying to defend his point.
"that's not gonna happen y/d/n! just trust her!!" my mom started to get frustrated and even though i didn't know what was going on i started to get frustrated too.
"I DONT KNOW IF I DO, Y/M/N!! I DONT KNOW, OKAY?" my dad said yelling even louder. i decided to step in even though that's the last thing i should be doing.
"well you should, just let the guy stay over. ill be fine dad, im already interested in someone else.." i said giving a half smile. that was definitely not appropriate in this situation but i already said it. my mom sighed knowing i heard most of what was going on. my dad groaning finally spoke up. the thing my mom was dreading to hear at last.
"fine, invite him... but y/n has to make space." he said with an unsatisfied look on his face. i nodded and quickly went to the hallway outside my room and started grabbing random things on a counter that was in the corner. after a few minutes or even hours i made space all over the house and i cleaned the room across from mine. both our rooms had a connected walk in closet so our rooms would technically almost be connected. after cleaning i decided to go ask my parents who the guy was. and they told me to look for him on any social media, they gave me his name and i started to look up; Mariano Castano.

i decided to thank him for it and i mentioned seeing him since he was probably gonna come in a few days. i was ready for all the ship comments and all the "omg they're gonna see each other" comments.
i went to take a shower and once i came out i wore something simple and decided to post on instagram for the first time in a while.
