Nearly a week later, I had been released along with Sam; but there was consequences. A newly turned Hell raiser had little chances of regaining memories of the other life before she became a demon.
She lost her memory.
That morning, I glanced at Sam curiously, wondering what was going through her head. A bunch of strangers with her in a hospital, that seems kinda of strange. Sam glanced at me, forcing a smile on her lips. She wants to say something, I thought as Lucas came over. He tilted his head at mine.
"Its ok." I told him, as I pushed myself out of bed and into my shoes. He wrapped a knowing arm around me, even though I had been healed two days ago. It was clear he was unsure let me go again and it was bad enough I had two scars from the stakes and nearly died a week ago. Overall, I had a terrible track record. Not to mention the raging nightmares that haunted me at night. I shuddered in his arms, as he pulled me into a warm embrace. "But it's not OK that Sam's gone." I told him quietly.
He nodded, dipping his head down to brush my lips with his. "We'll get her back." He whispered just as quiet. "I promise. One way or another, memories will slowly come back to her as she confines her into demon body." He explained, as his mouth moved from my lips to my neck. I moaned in pleasure until I hear a throat clear.
Gavin stood at the door, with a duffel bag. "We are ready to leave." He said awkwardly.
Lucas and I broke apart, lingering breaths between us. "Let's go." He smiled, before grasping my hand in his as we left the hospital. Hoping for a new start.
He led me to the car; are new car. It was a Toyota Van in black, our suitcases taking refuge in the back. My dad and Isabella sitting in the front with Lucas and I in the back with Sam in the back, looking out the window in dismay.
"Where are we going, Gavin?" I asked as we pulled out of the hospital parking lot.
"Out of Trista. Isabella had a great idea for Sam and you. That means we are going to the Texan Fields west of Trista."
"The Texan Fields? Isn't that where-."
"The Demons fought almost a thousand years ago. I have a house down there that is safe and not under the Hellraiser's radar. Besides, we need all the training for you guys we can get. And the Inferno wanted Gavin to scout out the area for a few weeks."
"So, we are taking refuge at your house for scouting that is off the hellraiser's radar?" I couldn't find it more crazy or rather insane. "Then when to we go back to the Inferno?"
"January 1."
I took in a heavy sigh, looking at the new road we were now trekking on. "That's about a month and a half." I protested, but I knew they wouldn't get me far.
"I'm sure everything will work out."Lucas massaged my hand, making small circles around my skin. "Get some rest." He kissed my forehead, and I leaned against him hearing the familiar thud of his heart. I took his advice before turning in, letting the lull of the car move me to sleep.

"Come on!" The voice of Mina struck me before I could recover my surroundings. "Adlai, it's not far! The Inferno won't find us down here." She giggled as they ran past me.Mina donned a blue spring dress as she ran through the water if the surface of the cave. Her dark hair was made into fishtail braids that swarmed her hair like a makeshift crown. Adlai, had worn a muscle shirt that showed his visual ripped muscles.
I stayed hidden, behind the wall watching as Mina kissed Adlai deeply and lovingly. Adlai ran his hands on her hips and up her back. Once the kiss broke away, Adlai glanced down the cave, worry taking refuge on his features.
