Meg woke up the next morning unbothered by any alarm or cold water drenching her. The dinner with the Cullens definitely happened, she confirmed it by double-checking the empty dish of leftovers that still sat on her bedside table. She could hear Marge and Eleanor conversing in the room over as she pulled herself out of bed.

"Oh look who's up." Eleanor smirked as she brought a mug of coffee to her lips. "I heard about your weekend with you know who."

"Before you ask, nothing happened." Meg butted in before pouring herself a mug full of black tea.

"Hey, hey I get it. Come on we should get you ready and off to school."

Meg had no time to protest as she was dragged into her room again, nearly spilling hot tea all over herself.

"So you're still on the market, but it's also complicated right? So we need something with a wow factor that's still practical." Meg furrowed her brows as Eleanor rambled on. Meg didn't even think about her and Jaspers relationship. About what Esme meant by the future. If anything, she honestly felt a little more attracted to Jasper now. Maybe it was stupidity or the danger factor. If anything, it was less awkward between them and that was everything.

Not long passed and Meg found herself in a pair of blue corduroy pants, a white mockneck undershirt, and a blue and green graphic tee overtop of it. "Oh Felix is here!" Eleanor said as she made her way to the door. Meg shook her head slowly as she slipped on a her timberlands.

The trio pulled into school and parked next to a black van with a group of kids hanging around the front of it. Felix spotted another boy wearing a matching letterman jacket and nearly completely jumped out of his car to meet him.

"Mike! Hey!" Their conversation cut when Felix slammed the door behind him. Eleanor sighed and spoke under her breath, "There he goes again not paying attention at all." Eleanor put her backpack on and got out of the car with a new annoyed expression.

Mikes attention was pulled away from Felix as he whistled in Megs direction. Meg smiled and rolled her eyes, knowing Mike was only playing and was about as harmful as a bunny. She reached over and punched him in the arm as she spoke, "Shut up Mikey, you know I could kick your ass."

Mike reached to the spot on his arm that Meg had punched and rubbed it gently. "I doubt that but okay...ow."

"Anyways, did any of you hear about the prom theme this year?" Meg asked as she pulled her backpack over her right shoulder.

"Yeah." A black haired girl with glasses and a camera chimed in. "Monte Carlo, how intriguing."

"Monte Carlo? That's the theme?" A short girl by the name of Jessica questioned.

"You know, gambling, tuxedos." Eric, the third boy standing with the group formed his fingers into a fake gun and pretended to be aiming for something in the distance. "Bond, James, Bond."

The group including Felix and Meghan, but not an absent Eleanor, began laughing at Eric's impression of a spy as Jessica tossed her volleyball at his head. The commotion was stopped by Angela who was lowering her camera, "Oh my god."

Immediately all of them stopped laughing and moved away from the van to follow her gaze to the other side of the parking lot. The faces of the people beside Meghan all shifted in the blink of an eye. Angela was surprised, but pleasantly, Eric was in plain disbelief, Mike looked a little upset or disappointed, Jessica had a slight look of jealously on her face, Felix nearly laughed at the sight, and Meg had her brows furrowed.

Across the parking lot, Bella and Edward were walking towards the school, his arm around her. People gathering in crowds to see them. Edward seemed to enjoy the attention while Bella looked uncomfortable. Meg looked passed the two and to the Cullens cars.
