Huling taon sa college ay mas naging mahirap, paunti-unti na din ang mga naging ka-batch ko.

Survival of the fittest it is.

Everyone gets busy reviewing for the upcoming board exam next year. Halos napuno na rin ang notebooks ko sa mga notes. I was enjoying to take down notes that's why.

That's the last day I saw Xander, wala akong naging balita sa kanya. Even Sara didn't bother to ask me to that, mas naging focus ako sa pag-aaral sa huling taon ko.

For my first semester, nag-Ojt ako sa isang company, it's a great company, actually isa na 'yun sa mga list ko para mag-aaply for work. Mas iba sa real world ang mga ginagawa kaysa sa school. Tinuruan din kami ng ibat-ibang systems for the accounting.

The head of the accounting department was really nice at sinabihan na niya ako agad na bumalik ako dito pagka-graduate ko or pagkapasa ko.

I can say that I did well on my Practicum.

On my last semester, everyone got busy to the review. I got inspired more because the university invited a lot of CPA's from different review center. They are assigned to review for us.

"I got high hopes for you, Ms. Johnson."

Atty. Calo told me before he got out the university. Nakaka-pressure siya because even my batchmates always told me that. Lalo na nang ako na naman maging top 1 sa annual exam.

"Congratulations to us!" sigaw ni Sara ng maipasa namin ang huling requirements at tapos na rin kami sa clearance.

Nakangiti ako hanggang pag-uwi ng bahay, dala-dala ko na rin ang toga at invitation para sa graduation ko. Naabutan ko si Papa sa kusina na kumakain.

"Pa, gagraduate na ako." I grinned to him.

He stood up and went to me to hugged me tightly.

Mabilis na lumipas ang araw at graduation na. I had a terrible image of graduation pero kailangang burahin sa ngayon dahil ito na ang pinaghirapan ko sa limang taon.

"Johnson, Miracle Jane, Cum Laude"

I smiled habang tinatanggap ang diploma at kinakamayan ang mga panauhin sa stage. Even my eyes is happy, I heard claps from the crowd.

"Miracle.. oh." Inabot ni Papa ang isang bouquet ng bulaklak.

Nawala ang ngiti sa bibig ko ng kinuha ko ang bulaklak galing kay Papa.

Red rose and white calla lilies.

I shooked my head to that and smiled when Sara took a picture.

I got 6 months to review for the board exam, my father told me to focus to that. Unang buwan sa pagrereview ng simulang magkasakit si Papa, walang maghahawak ng business niya so he decided Tito for that, it's Macy's father so it will be okay.

(Miracle.. hija, you're father......)

I was in the review center when Tito called me that my father got hospitalized. Tumaas daw dugo niya kaya nahimatay  bigla. Nasa gitna ako ng discussion sa review ng pumunta ng hospital.

Inabutan lamang ako ng isang dokumentong naglalaman kung pumapayag akong paputulin ang paa ni Papa.

He had diabetes since then, pero lumala ito lalo na at hindi naagapan ang sugat niya sa paa. The doctor advice to cut it dahil may mga ugat na daw na hindi na gumagana.
