The semester ends like a bliss, I'm just a little nervous for my grades. Isang subject na lang inaantay sa automate to see if my grades are still qualified.
To be honest, I'm scared.
I'm running for Magna Cum Laude, but with my performance for the last sem. I think I'm not suited in that anymore.
Nag-announced sa group chat namin na ngayon na daw ilalabas ang grades. Naka-ilang refresh na ako sa website pero wala pa ding update.
Nag-pop out bigla ang chat ni Sara at sabi niya ay meron na daw, so I quickly refresh again the website to see my grades.
For the other subject I was still qualified but with my Law subject.
I got sad. I message Xander, I need someone to make me feel better.
mjjohnson: baby...
Good thing he is online when I saw the typing icon.
xandergreatmartin: this is first time you called me that. Why baby?
mjjohnson: i need you..
Suddenly I feel like I'm a kid who needs comfort.
He fetch me, nag-drive thru muna siya sa Mcdo to buy my comfort food. Hindi ko pa sinasabi sa kanya pero mukhang gets naman na niya dahil hindi ko pa siya kinakausap.
"Xander, I failed." I whine to him as soon as we enter his condo.
Tinignan niya ako ng nagtataka, I went to his sofa, I sat there. Nilagay ko ang siko ko sa tuhod ko at tinakpan ang mukha ko.
He sat beside me and he guide my head to his shoulder. Niyakap ko siya sa gilid, all I need is comfort.
"It was my Law subject, remember 'yung surprise quiz ni Attorney? It affects my grades this semester." I started to talk when he brushed my hair at sumandal kami sa sofa.
Tinaas ko ang paa ko sa sofa at inangat ko ang ulo ko para tignan ko siya.
"I got 1.75 in Law!" I whimper at sinandal ang ulo ko sa dibdib niya.
He suddenly chuckled, naramdaman ko 'yun when his chest vibrated kaya inangat ko ulit ang ulo ko to glare at him.
"Bakit ka tumatawa!?" I asked, furious.
Hindi pa din siya tumitigil sa kakatawa, and it's not fun anymore. I crossed my hands to my chest.
"Wait haha, wait... Miracle." He got tears on the side of his eyes. Pinunasan niya 'yun bago ulit ako hilahin papalapit sa kanya.
