The following days felt surreal, I become to meet again the Xander that I loved years ago. I can see that he's trying to win me back again.

I received flowers every other day from him with breakfast and lunch. He's busy with his works dahil kailangan daw mai-close ang isang deal with a new investor to the company. He texted me earlier today that we should have dinner.

This is our first dinner together, kaya pagkauwi ko pa lang ay nagshower na ako agad. I pick a red sleeveless bodycon dress with a slit on the left thigh part. The top part is not that revealing dahil straight cut ito. I wear stilettos after I put a little make-up at red lipstick.

"Wait, Miracle. Bakit parang excited ka?" I pursed my lips while whispering to m reflection in the mirror.

I curled my hair and it was not that long but it's not short also. I just let it at my back and wear a gold clip on the side of my hair.

My phone vibrated at the top of my vanity. I laughed reading his name on the screen.

I grabbed my black small purse and put my wallet, tissue and lipstick. Bumaba na ako sa baba at nakita si Papa na nanunuod ng balita. It was 7 pm on the clock. He looked to me ng makita ako pababa.

"Dinner date?" my father rose his lips to tease me.

"How come... did you know?" I wondered to him

Tumayo siyang nakangiti at lumapit sa akin.

"He's worth it, Rack." Nakatingin siya sa mata ko and I can see that he's persuading me to trust his words.

"Papa.." I utter

He hugged me swiftly and rubbed my back. "I'm proud of you, Miracle.. For the past years you did great, anak.. now it's time for your happiness."

Bulong niya sa'kin habang yakap-yakap ako. I bit my lower lip dahil sa sinabi niya. My father cares for me a lot. The hugged break because someone buzzed the doorbell.

"Si Xander na siguro 'yan." Dumiretso siya sa pinto at binuksan ito.

I saw Xander wearing a casual polo and three buttons are open to show his silver necklace. He partnered it with dark jeans and a designer shoes. I instantly blushed when he's holding a bouquet of roses with calla lilies.

He step forward para magmano kay Papa, nagkangitian sila bago siya lumapit sa akin.

"Let's go," he grinned to me sabay bigay ng bulaklak sa akin.

I thank him for the flower and step outside. Nagpaalam muna kami kay Papa at ngumiti lang siya sa amin bago kami umalis.
